If your budget allow, go for Bridgestone GR80, but around rm270 per piece...
Michelin MXV8 around that price too..

GoodYear NCT, Continental Comfort Contact, Silverstone Kruizer NS below rm200...
Yokohama..you can try it, the old model Db ES501 is a quiet tyre but perform so-so during wet...

if u want silent + best bucks of money, 912 is good... but if u need performance, then u look for others.
912 is more on comfy and silent.

for me to rate 912, i will give 7.5/10, dry road is good and silent, but wet condition i will say "drive slowly"...
cos that day i was going to mid valley from DU using pantai expressway, and its raining. after came out from tol and there is a big right turn, that time my car speed is about 60km/h, and i try to reduce speed when entering the corner. while in the middle of the corner, the tyres seems losses abit of traction and the rear tyres are skidding. lucky that the tyre are not totally give way and i manage to control the car. if not sure i will get a 360 degree turn... sweat.gif

Amongst the 3, I would rate it accordingly via the following

Dry Performance
Toyo T1-R > Michelin PP2 > Falken ZE-912

Wet Performance
Michelin PP2 > Toyo T1-R > Falken ZE-912

Comfort
Falken ZE-912 > Michelin PP2 > Toyo T1-R

Noise
Michelin PP2 > Falken ZE-912 > Toyo T1-R

Overally, I would say that the Michelin PP2 is one of the better all-rounder tyres. You may also give the Yokohama C.Drive a try as it's also a pretty decent all-rounder like the Michelin PP2.

Yeah... Since he's kinda comparing the 3 types, just list out the opinion I had in mind for them.

Just that I forgot that the price issue laugh.gif Definitely 912 is the most bang per buck if you consider the price.

I would say the PP2 has the shortest life span considering Michelin tyres are majority soft compound rubber. Great grip, poor lifespan.

Maybe you should try Toyo T1-R then compare again smile.gif After that you'll see which has a shorter lifespan.
