lol not egg box, egg box works similar as acoustic foam, its only reduce wave bouncing , if wan do some sound proof u need 3-5 layers of walls at lease or double layer of glass with vacuum treat between, acoustic treatment and soundproof alot different.
acoustic treatment (sticking egg box / acoustic foam ) only wil make ur room sounds better , and easier for recording , doesn't help much with sound proof.
