As we know surface was a bit overpriced, is there any alternative to surface with less spicy price?
I wish to get a tablet and laptop like and light to do work and bring outside.

What kind of work? If you are going to use keyboard more for input, then laptop is the way. Surface keyboard is more like display cover. Screen cannot stand on its own without retracting its stand. Table need to carry keyboard along laugh.gif

Hey, I was also looking to buy surface. I agree that it's really kinda over priced. I'm currently researching other alternatives.
If you want a digitized pen, Acer switch 11 (the full HD) is one option. It looses a lot from surface, though. Battery, looks, weight... Or the R7 (cant remember whether it's that or R13)
Dell has the Venue 11 Pro, but I have not seen it in our market.
If no requirement for the pen, what I'm just starting to survey for, really we should look at ultrabooks (some of which are convertible).
Alternatively, Samsung has a few tabs that has the digitizer pen, but they run on Android, meaning you won't get the full/sameversion of the apps as you would in Windows.

From what I gathered (courtesy of google, of course) the CHI is heavier than SP3/4 at just above 1.5 kg (SP3 around 1.2 kg) and there is no info whether it supports a digitizer pen. Price wise, it should be around the price of SP3 with i3 (64/4 config), which makes the CHI better price/performance wise.
This is currently my no 1 alternative. The only thing that still makes me think twice is the digitizer pen support. If I can confirm that it supports such pen, then for sure SP3 is beat (for me).
