I am running filezilla ftp server on my computer. The purpose of my ftp server is to send files from school to my comp, only for personal use. Lately there are people trying to access my server, and they always try to enter with the Admin/Administrator account(which does not exist).

These bots can spend hours trying to login to an account which does not exist, anyway they are not posing high level threats but they are hogging my bandwidth, and some time i can't connect to my computer.

I had manually banned those ip which i do not recognize because Filezilla does not have a feature to auto-ban ip or kill a connection after X attempt, so i was wondering anyone know a program which can auto-ban IP(s) which are trying to connect to my computer.

PS: I'm running winxp and I have no background of programming skill

Ban IP is not the solution here, ban port is the only solution and it will solve it better than IP.

You can try ban those port thru your router modem or ban those port from your nework card. As you know your ftp is using selected port (normally is port 21), so you can set your pc at home that only allow port 21 and deny the rest.

My advice is better ban those IP from your router, since router takes all the job and so your pc will run smoothly. If there is a DDOS, then "phreaker" only be able to reach your router and not your pc.
