 ddr2 ram timing q?, lower timing only work in slot1+3

Wanna ask,

my rams works with lower timings on slots 1n3 but not 2n4...any reason for that???....changed frm 5-5-5-18 to 4-4-4-12 n it wont boot but was working fine previosly on slots 1n3 on the lower timings.

mobo might be faulty.
or maybe its the incompatibility of the rams.
try using another pair of rams and see how it works out.

thx...am running with the spd timings on the 2n4 slots for more than a wk now, so far no problems...just wont boot on lower timings..anyway i just went from 5-5-5-18 to 4-4-4-12 or shud i do it in small increments..... biggrin.gif

do u know what chipset ur rams are based on?

i not sure, got cover or isit called ramsink...actually been meaning to find out....coz hoping its micron biggrin.gif
