Hi guys, I've got a problem.
I have studied audit subject in university. I have also did an internship in audit before.
But I still don't fucking get what is audit and what I am doing.
When I studied audit in university using textbook, it was terrible because nothing made sense. It was all bullshit theory. I thought maybe it will make sense when I actually do audit in real life.
But after my internship, I still don't get what the fuck I am doing.
I feel insecure whether what I am doing is correct. For example, when doing revenue work paper, I don't know how to begin. What the fuck is lead schedule? What is walkthrough and how do u select the test of controls? But first, what the fuck is test of controls?
And I'm a slow learner.
I really wonder if audit is the right choice for me. I like computers. Maybe I should havestudied things like IT, computer science instead of fucking accounting. Plus I was from pure science stream when I was in secondary school so I have no background in accounting. Fuck too late now. I am gonna be completing my degree soon. It will be a waste if I do not work in accounting.
