Unfortunately majority of HR (at least in Malaysia) don't have proper etiquette to give a formal rejection letter. You are entitled a rejection letter/email, at least for someone who already interviewed with SM. If its just initial screening no need la for rejection letter.
But yeah dude, rule of thumb if you followed up and no answer more than one month most likely rejected.
