Hi all, I got an interview with pwc for senior associate role, advisory. Any tips from those who went for pwc interview?

They contacted me on Linkedin and scheduled the interview quickly. I read here that you have to go through some accessment but I wasn't given any yet. What should I expect at this point? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

They could be desperate for a specialized skillset you have for a running or upcoming project. Just make sure you know your stuff.

So you think they are likely to ask more technical stuff then? Hm ok thanks!

Yes sure I'll be happy to share my experience.

I was interviewed with two senior manager, local and one based in Singapore. If I'm being honest, it was really relaxing and mostly conversational. They don't ask the standard or behavioral question to me. They are more interested in knowing about my experience and skills so they asked a lot of technical question. So depending on the role and position, your interview process might different from me.

Regardless I still think it is worth to prepare. Take a look at their professional competency, cultures and values. See if you can show those values into any one of your answers. I used the professional competency part during my 'tell me about yourself' question. They were smiling when I talked about that point, I think they knew I prepared for that and practiced those answer lol. Anyhow at least it shows that you did your research on the firm so that's a plus point.

I would also suggest you to be more conversational. What I meant here is that you don't only answer them, ask question to them too. Learn more about their business, about the role. It is a good way to find out whether the job is suitable for you or not. I was genuinely curious about the new project that they are doing so I had a lot of questions. I feel that if you can hold a professional conversation with your current peers or boss, you will do fine in the interview. My interview was 40 minutes but I felt that it went by so fast because of the flow of conversation.

Overall, it was a positive experience for me. Make sure you know your stuffs and prepare for anything you can think of. It certainly helped me to get the job offer. So good luck and all the best to you!

Sorry my long post - I really want to help other because I know how you feel. Last time, I browsed the internet for hours looking for advices and tips from others. Hope my advice help and if you have any question do PM me.
