Here's for KPMG

Basics for fresh grad:
1. completed diploma or below: 2.3
2. completed degree: 2.7
3. completed prof paper: 2.85

Add 150 fixed allowance for all above to get ur gross salary.

A reminder to you: you enter audit line for knowledge, not for money.

HI, can I know after how long so that I can reapply for big 4? 2 of the big 4 has turn me down recently and I would like know the reason behind the rejection. I think i did quite well in interview and phone interview. is it maybe because of my results? fyi I have a second lower degree with completion of 3/6 cpa aus paper.

deloitte is shortage of staff now, if you can't get in, only 2 reasons:

1. there are better candidates during interview (when you are invited into an interview, result is not important anymore)
2. you did not provide answer that the interviewer wants (are you a social person? are you a good performer, a good leader? is your double entry strong?)

EY prefer those had clear mindset on which industry they wanted to enter, and results is important to them. You need to be academically sound in order to enter.

I've a 3rd class degree, even worse than you, but I've been in Big 4 for years. I first start off in medium sized firm, then only starts my acca then moved to Big 4, then during Big 4 only complete my acca.

I have two friends both degree second upper, interned big4. after completing acca, 1 fail to get into big4 - Msia grad. 1 succeed - Aussie grad. personality wise, both are okay. Takde rezeki.

btw, for Acca membership, can we claim the work experience for one year in firm A plus 2 years in firm B? Idk where to ask this question.
*
can claim both, im the best example. You need to get supervisor sign for you in firm A and firm B respectively for experience.

for Performance objective, any supervisor can sign for you. in my case, i get firm A to sign 4, firm B to sign 10, total 14 signed.

Thanks for your reply bro.
Mind if i ask how do you know delloitte is in shortage of staff as we all know in audit line the turnover for all big 4 is high? Are you one of their staff?haha...

Yes I think that you are right i did not exhibit good leadership traits in the interview and also did not stand out from the group interview but most of the participant in the group interview did similar. I wonder how great a fresh grad can be.

Yes I think i messed up during the phone interview with EY as im afraid of telling them which industry I would want to be in because each industry has its quota.

How long have you been working in mid firm before moving to big 4? when you move to big 4 did you already acquire your professional tittle?
*
Not from Deloitte. Well, audit circle very small only.

1 year in mid firm before moving to Big 4. From your reply, I ady know you are not a very detailed person, where auditor actually need to be very detailed. Coz I already mentioned that i only finished my study while working in Big 4 lollll

Err...result good doesn't mean those will be equally good at work, I've been seeing ACCA top scorer/prize winner failed the probation, job assessment from us (seniors) to them was "low performer/under performing" at work.

I was from big 4 audit, and I was also a 3rd class degree student. When your result doesn't look good, don't feel sad, it's not the end of the world. I did part time ACCA after that and passed all the papers (of course have failures).

Secondly, MONEY. Frankly speaking, is money really your top concerning factor? Please la...think again why do you step into audit when you already know the toughness and tiredness? It's all about gaining knowledge, you will be amazed of your career progression when you compare yourself to non-auditor classmates. I can guarantee you outshine among them, in terms of knowledge and technical skills/Microsoft Excel skills. Now I happily moved out from audit and worked in commercial.

Remember, very important that you performed good during the interview. Happy peak period!
