For 1. - Graduate programme translates to an associate/staff position, basically a full time job whereas the internship is for 3 months.
If you would like to try out advisory services (Now termed EY consulting)/Tax you may apply for an internship there also
For 2. - No visibility on this so I cant answer on that.
