Hi. My son just completed the first 9 ACCA papers, and thinking of applying to audit firms. Should he apply for internship or for associate position?
Thanks.

QUOTE(Apek Wong @ Apr 22 2023, 09:37 PM) Well that depends too... If he is lack of money and/or wishing to step into society slightly earlier then yes, he may choose to do so. However, if he is not having any financial problem, then he may choose to complete the remaining last 4 papers first, then only starts working. Sorry not looking for insight. Just need my question answered. As for my case, I took Accounting Degree in a Public University of Malaysia, which granted me 9 papers of exemption, and I only managed to start my remaining 4 papers at the final sem final year of my degree. Hence, I had to part time study for the 3 remaining papers (I passed 1 before start working) as I found myself a bit late to step into society due to I went to Form 6 + Malaysia Public University (quite a long process but the cheapest way of education to get a degree). Afterall, it is all depends on him, the remaining 4 papers for him will be able to be completed within 2 years one... This is my another 2 cents, hope this will give you an insight. |
