Is it possible to transfer between advisory department? For example, From corporate restructuring to Transaction service

Im starting next month in one of the big 4s under the advisory department. I be starting as an associate under CR

For advisory, Big 4 will usually choose candidates from overseas uni. If you are from local, you don't stand a chance.

My circle of friends in banking and finance. Some are public uni local graduates interned in advisory. While the majority is true, its not a given that local graduates cant make it there, only its harder.

People say i wont able to make it to a international banking MT program too, that you gotta be ivy leagues and oxbridge to make it there. If you search back my thread post history, I was formerly from advisory in a big 4 firm.

I dont deny that majority is from overseas, but the notion that its impossible to reach is like an absolute judgement while exception exists. Before you call me im the special one, i am not, there are a few others like me too also from local grads (both private and public, like Sunway, Monash, Nottingham etc).

Bonus: BCG, a MBB firm has a local admission track for local grads (business analyst role), a few of my connections made it there

EY written assessment, anyone been through it? Mind to shed some thoughts on how it will be like?
