Hi guys, I am a fresh Accounting and Finance graduate from UOL in collaboration with HELP Uni. Scored First Class and currently pursuing professional qualification under ACCA with 3 professional papers left (provided I pass the last 2 papers that I sat in earlier December 2019). I am 23 this year, looking to apply for audit associate positions in Big 4 company or big 5 (bdo). However things didnt go well as planned, just few days back, I received my first rejection letter from KPMG without even doing online test. And no replies from Deloitte or EY yet (submitted documents to them few days ago). Wondering if I should continue to wait for their replies or start small?

I felt loss ever since I have spent almost a month sending resume to companies and none of them actually called back, and 2 of my close friends got offered in one of the big4 in last December 2019.

Btw, I have my resume checked by friends as well as my previous lecturer in Uni.

Hey guys, I just applied for assurance intern at pwc on feb 4 and received a phone interview the next day, which is surprisingly fast. The HR proposed risk assurance intern position to me instead, and I was fine with it though I didnt research that much on what risk assurance does prior to that. But he did explain what is it about and its difference with the usual assurance. He said he will submit my resume to the hiring manager and will call me again once I'm selected. How long would it normally take for them to get back to me? And will they ask for a face to face interview? I got kinda nervous answering some questions cuz the call really out of the blue. I really hope I can get through...

I see. Any technical question asked during the interview? And wow 2 interview, was it on the same day or u hv to pass one in order to proceed to the next interview?

I thought EY has frozen the hiring cycle for non audit and tax? But this is gooooood sign tho 

How long does PWC process the application? So far online assessment completed, interview completed. Interviewer informed that if all goes well, shall hear from HR within 2 weeks. But so far Kirk..Kirk..Kirk..

Has anyone tried PwC's online assessment? The email stated that the assessment will be an online game. Just curious about what will be tested and how to score
