I applied through their website. And I've checked it out, there is EY Graduate Programme - Assurance (Audit Associate). I'm not sure you are a fresh graduate or experienced, perhaps this may help you. And here's the link

Good luck  icon_rolleyes.gif

Apparently it’s a 6 mths employment contract, not sure whether to accept it or not, just got a call from them.

Same goes to me. Although it's just a 6 mths contract, I think it's a good opportunity to work with one of the big 4. So I just accept the offer. Hope that you accept also, then we can become colleagues haha

THATS GREAT!! I accepted it too thinking it’s quite a fair period to decide whether audit is suitable for me or not. Hope to see you in EY biggrin.gif have you done your virtual interview?

Hi, congratulations on your new job. I wanna ask whether you joined EY's audit associate as a fresh graduate (with no prior experience) or experienced hire. Could u also share what questions were asked during the interview process?

Thank you in advance. I am hesitant to apply for EY because I was recently rejected by other 2 Big 4 firms (one main reason is that I have no prior experience or internship as compared to other candidates, although I have completed my degree and ACCA papers)  cry.gif

Job search has been harsh, especially during this pandemic.. I'm even thinking to apply for internship first just to gain experience first.

I think you should try because they replied quite fast after I applied! Have only gone through the phone interview and online assessment, but not the virtual interview. Phone interview was quite chill as it is just a casual conversation with HR. Good luck! biggrin.gif

Don't worry if you are rejected by other Big 4. I was rejected by some big 4 and those mid firms didn't even bother to reply me lol.

I join EY as a fresh grad. For interview questions, you can do some research from glassdoor. Phone interview is quite simple, they just ask you about your major, experience and co-curricular.

After that you will take online assessment. And finally will be written assessment and virtual interview. For virtual interview, just those normal interview questions like strength and weaknesses, why audit. No technical questions as you are a fresh grad.

Good luck!

How long later did you receive notice about the virtual interview? Because it’s been two days since they last replied sad.gif

Lets just say that - dont join audit for the sake of just getting a job. When people are saying that they work until 3am, that is not even exaggerating. It is just how the life in audit is. Make sure u're able to take it, and know what u're signing up for. This is no joke as i have seen alot of freshies coming in not knowing what they're getting themselves into, and having attitude problems.... a waste of everybody's time. The learning curve is very steep, and the long working hours - make sure u can handle this.

Yea, i’m very aware of the working hours also but would like to try out to see whether i’m fit for audit or not for these 6 months, which I think is quite a fair period (hope so) sad.gif For the 3am part, does it applies to peak period only or all the time?
