Hi all, I am planning to apply for advisory intern. Do you think that they will recruit more interns in this post-pandemic economy?

sorry to break the news

advisory will be the the sector that suffers the most during this situation, due to clients cutting expenditure

If I'm not mistaken Big Four has frozen the hiring process for the FY2020. If there's position available it would be very limited.

PwC - The position for FY2020 ady has been filled up in the first quarter of the year

EY & Deloitte - The sources from inside told us hiring process has been frozen

Yeah, I'm serious shakehead.gif

All partners partners/directors voluntarily cut their salaries so they can retain staff cry.gif

And no one is resigning (I was planning to lol) after peak season coz it's hard to get job post covid icon_question.gif

Same goes to PwC. Partners are absorbing the losses. Not sure how's the job market trend for the next half of the year. sad.gif

I don't have any sources regarding on these firms. But the leading companies in the industry (Big Four) are taking punches, surely they are not doing well too.

This is on the assumption that there's no attrition during this period. Unlikely that people may stay on in audit line especially if they are still looking to job hop and move out from audit/assurance line.

Can you confirm this? However, HR said they are still "processing" the application.

Did your job status & submission status on the taleo website changed when you got a offer from EY? or there will be no changes at all after submitting the application?
