hello. anyone applying for deloitte?
is it the online application is the only way to apply?
if the search job function didn't show up my state meaning that there is no vacancy available at my location?
Can't I apply thru other channel?
*
Which division?

I'm one of their vendors for IT professionals.

Divisions:
ERS - Enterprise Risk Services
Deloitte SEA Services - IT Shared Service Centre.

you completed all and answer wrongly?

the numerical test is graded on the number of correct answers you give in the time allowed, in this case, it should be 1 hour.

From what my friend says this is how the increment looks like at the Big 4 in Msia (excl Deloittes)

Yr 1: 2.8k
Yr 2: 3.0k +/-
Yr 3: 4.0k +/-

After tht, it depends if u get promoted or not since promotion in these first 3-4 yrs are almost an entitlement tongue.gif

Hi everyone, i need some advise. I get job offer from kpmg and bdo penang, I am applying for tax position, I am in dilemma now which firm I should join.

My concern is the working environment of both firms and the training they provide. I understand that their workload may be the same but kpmg may have more exposure, which firms will have a better working culture?

Another concern is the training aspect. I see this importantly because I want to be a tax planner in the future. Which firms provide better training to staffs, how they provide their training, do they send their staffs to external training such as seminar?

If someone is working there or have friends work there, please give some advise or comparison about these two firms, thank you.

anyone here in IT Audit ? How is it ? as compared to external audit? Because I am planning to take CISA and eventually try IT audit afterward.

It is hard for a account-degree background to do IT audit ?

I was only given 25 mins. Answered 18, left 10, didnt make guesses. Didnt have enough time to digest the questions and the statements/graphs. Total mess. :'( kinda nailed the interview, only left my test scores. Did I fail?

its ok, no one ever finish that test anyway haha, you are graded with the question you answered.

If out of 18, 9 is correct, I think its a pass. But i dunno whether the exam standards have changed, if the interviewer shows great interest at you, its a good thing.

My advise is go Big smile.gif
Both will be tough learning curve(in audit, not sure about tax)
But why choose mid firm when u can go to big4?

Whaaat?? 40qs? When did u have that test? In main or branch office? Rarely see true false cannot say numerical tests, except those free online assessment sets. Then time given? Or ur talking about Deloitte's assessments?
