Hi, it was early this year. He did an internship there and they offered him a position straight away after.

Which division are you applying to? Audit? It was more of a chit chat session to me. The senior manager was really nice and he genuinely wanted to know me more as a person. If you’re applying into audit, he wants you to know what you’re getting yourself into (long hours / deadlines). And he also wanted to know what do you want to achieve by working in audit & EY because he said there are so many people who went to that interview unprepared and only applied because by working in audit / EY because they believe that it’s a good career path and because EY is one of the big 4 etc etc. The interview lasted for more than an hour for me. I read on glassdoors that if it lasts more than an hour, then it’s a good sign haha. But just read the questions that people post on glassdoors and you should be fine I think. Best of luck!

Hi guys, I was offered a position by KPMG & EY, both as IT Audit. Something like Risk Management or Risk Assurance. Don't quite remember the term. Both did say that they are taking my application as fresh grad.

Currently I only have 1 year and 5 months of working experience. I feel I did better in EY interview. And somehow, they are offering very very close to my current salary. Which I am surprise to hear. IT audit is something that interest me.

How is it like working as IT audit? How is the progression of rank and salary increment like?

is it possible to fail ey’s personality test and would you be informed?

I'm IT support/consultant now. Attached mainly to 1 client, providing support on their IT operational side. More on IT monitoring.

I’m not sure as I probably didn’t fail it cause I got the invitation for an interview. It took me a week after I finished my online assessment to get a call from them. I got a call on Fri and the interview was on Sat.

It’s preferred that you wear black court shoes for this line of work. HR would brief the new joiners on dress code

hey guys, how long can the firm KIV your application? as im aware that the others had replied from them already, and i still do not have any replies yet. follow up last week and the hr say my interview outcome hasn't out yet. Should i keep following up with them every week? this week is the 3rd week already.

Unless you have other job offers, keep checking. Any firm can take forever. If good, they will tell you. Most will keep silent to protect reputation.

I got 1 fren she only got reply after 9 months. So no point waiting if they are still in KIV. Better try for others.

Does anyone else have any experience with the EY online test? Would you be emailed as to whether you fail/pass?

I saw a post few pages back about receiving an email stating that he/she did not pass the KPMG personality test and I was wondering if EY would send such an email too? so far I have not received anything yet but I just wanna get a heads up if this is going to be another 'if you wait too long you should give up' scenario haha.

edit: i double-checked on page 51, the person who posted actually replied that the firm was EY to another forumer's guess of KPMG. so if anyone have any tips on the EY's and KPMG's interview, please do share
