there is a seller who after i banked in money to him, say will reserve item for me. and the only reason didnt collect from him straight ( i even paid postal fee ) was that he told me i didnt tell him i was staying the area near his college so when his college reopen then only he'll pass to me.

so 2 days ago, i message him again asking when does his college opens ? and he straight tell me oh item sold. it's on a 1st come 1st serve basis. i mean wtf. i paid him and if he were to sell it off to someone even though i had paid him , PM me back and tell me la. if i hadnt message him back he would not have return me the money then.

seller concern is : Seller

there is no problem now. just to warn future buyers that even after paying 1st, your item is not guaranteed

oh he'd PM me back telling me will be refunding.. tmr i'll give him my account number and we'll see

No such thing. He as accepted ur payment for his goods. If u have any SMS or PM that states that than he is obliged to give u the item.

1st pic is proof i have bank in money to him. 2nd proof is that he had acknowledge payment and ask for me to wait to COD with him at his college. 3rd proof with date on PM so that there's proof saying on that day itself it was done

ok i'm here..i've already stated that items are on a first come first serve basis, i did not tell him to make any payment yet, because initially he did not know when to receive the item..but later on he already banked in the money (payment of RM7)..so he said he'll wait 2 weeks since by then we can meet..

up to this point, take 2 notes:

1. item is on first come first served basis
2. i did not ask him to make any payment yet

so during the 2 week period a buyer came straight to my place to collect the item with the payment (COD) right at the point...

- hence: following the first come first served statement in my post..
- i have notified the buyer about a refund of his RM7 as it would be the appropriate thing.

so i don't see what his fuss is about..1. already state first come first served, 2. he suddenly made a payment even before i told him to (coz we couldn't set a date for the transaction). either way i will refund his RM7.

the buyer

feel free to ask ANY of my previous customers and you'll find ALL of my transactions had NO problems and were on time...
so this is for everyone to see and you may make ur own point of view from here

suddenly banking in money into someone's account doesn't mean the item is already yours..an actual confirmation must ALWAYS be straightened out before actual transaction or request for a payment..

initially i was quite startled when he suddenly told me he banked in RM7 already..i was thinking "why he bank in so fast..havent confirm oso"

forumers pls give your opinion, thx

There's atleats 2 (two) reasons why ppl shouldnt post thier account no in forums..

1) to avoid such incident, seller havent confirm selling to buyer but already paid money.
2) to avoid identity theft using your account.

Im lazy to check all that attachment but if seller did not said "reserved for xxxxxxxx" then i did not see there's a problem with seller..

But then, seller said "can cod with me when college opens' and that seems like a "reserved for u" to me.....

I guess now buyer cant do anything except getting refund from seller..
Since the item has already been sold to other ppl..

Edit : Uh my bad...u didnt post your a/c no but u PMed him instead..
Last but not least....
Buyer & seller next time be more careful and pls dont say stuffs that give impression of "item is reserved for u" ok?

Ok then everything is cool now?

Next time make sure whether you are buyer or seller...
Ask "is the item reserved for me?"
Or "item is reserved for u"

dude i gave you the account number, name and contact number as trading details...its for the buyer's security i didnt ask you to make any payment whatsoever..
there are people who even just place their banking details in their sig...

i'm trying to settle this matter nicely but if you're going to be rude and irrational i have nothing better to say.

by the way i have refunded your RM 7.00 payment..

if this is something you cannot even settle nicely there's no point in me explaining myself.

i have already posted out the details of the transaction and if you would like to put it in any other way, do as you please i will not stop you.. i understand your discontent but this is a matter of miscommunication and i hope you trully understand that..

if i had any intentions to con your money, i wouldn't have refunded to you, and please..7 bux? i'm an honest trader with NO bad record..if you cannot see this as a misunderstanding, either way i'm trully sorry

pls note that i did not request for any payment..he banked in the RM7 without notifying me and suddenly said "i've already anked in the RM7"

so are you saying that if someone suddenly banks in an ammount in your account, you have to deliver a good which you did not confirm about the transaction?

i would like to straighten this matter out..i've been trying to settle this nicely..i even took the liberty to rush to the bank to deposit the RM7 into his acc before it closes fo the day..

yet i am getting rude and irrational responses..i understand he is discontented but is this really necessary for a miscommunication in trade?

I'm here as one of the forumer who had done a deal with gr2000 regarding TT Bigwater SE. CODed with him at Sunway Pyramid, and nothing like this happened.
For me he is a good trader because of he didn't bother to tell me everything about the stuff that he wanna sell. And yes, he is punctual too. Plus he post the FOC item for me without requesting on postal fee.

But in this thread, Im gonna be on neutral side.

From my personal view, it seems that ~Battousai~ just bank in the money being told so. Kindly refer to the rules of trading;

QUOTE
You are reminded that the banking in of money to the account of somebody you do not know in the expectation of shipment is extremely risky and should not be practiced.

From that PM screenshots, i didn't see any sentences that told ~Battousai~ to bank in the money into gr2000's account. I think he (gr2000) just gave his account number in case if they confirm to proceed to the deal (maybe).

But maybe the way gr2000 reply ~Battousai~'s PM is the one factor that create this misunderstanding. He asking ~Battousai~'s full name, mailing address and account number, right?
If I am a buyer, and seller request my details as above, I will assume that seller will be dealing with me. So my next step is bank in the money, thus give him any of my details related.
And thats what happened to ~Battousai~. He thought that gr2000 will post the stuff to him because gr2000 asking his name and mailing address.

Conclusion:

1. I think this is all about misunderstanding or miscommunication in trading.
2. Thank goodness, no big money involved. And money also has been refunded.
3. Next time seller should notify in their thread regarding the status of the item, is it reseved, still available, sold already or etc...
4. And for all the traders, please read this quoted above again:
QUOTE

Thats all. Im sorry if Ive said anything wrong. And sorry if my english is bad. Im not so good in it. Hope this dispute will be solved peacefully. Good luck.

i think it's just a misunderstanding.

I've traded with gr2000 before (COD) and everything went on smoothly with frequent communication via PM and SMS. plus he was punctual too.

again i repeat. this is not a con case im reporting. it's just a thread to warn of future buyers not neccessarily of this particular seller. just a warning to others of such.

i shall close this thread now. rclxms.gif
