Got an email from agent yesterday saying my subclass 189 approved, hurray!
From March 2015 to Aug 2016... took me close to 1.5 years in whole process.

No man, no license no nothing just basic.

March 2015:
Approach agent and took visa assessment. Paid first half of total fee. Went broke.

April-May 2015:
Collect documents. Payslips, EA forms, passport scan, photo, employment reference letters, CV, etc

June 2015:
Took IELTS. Failed first time 6.5 only
Re-registered and got a 2nd test at Oct 2015.

Sept 2015:
Got approval from Engineers Australia on work experience.

Oct 2015:
Re-sit IELTS. Passed 7.5 now.

Nov 2015:
Submitted EOI to DIBP.

March 2016:
ITA received. Filled in Form 80. *headache* 
Paid final half of total payment. (fking broke again)

April-May 2016:
Took certificate of good conduct from KLN. Went all the way to Putrajaya. Had lots of fun talking to the malay grabcar driver. Cool unker.
Went for health check.
Lodged application.

Yesterday:
PR approved.

Hi guys, just came back from guangzhou business trip. Had lots of beer everyday and great food. experiencing great trip in china and down to earth with locals and sourcing some materials for Ozzie market. filtered to good quality products.
of course some chip lak item won't get in from there.
very nice and safe city to live in. city never sleeps. very efficient and accurate on their job and reminds me how i live in KL during their age. however, very good experience working with them.
Heaps of high tech product.

compared to KL, Guangzhou is far more advance. there's subway all built underground and still continuing. probably another 2 years, it's good to travel there. very friendly ppl even i walked 3km to hotel....lol

took southern china airline, air hostess very lenglui and professional like models. tall and good looking too...lol
they always smile and helpful. food is great and it's 787 btw. compared to airasia and malindo air hostess....sigh.....
