Hi all, I am a law graduate from UK (but don't really wan to practise) and wanted to settle in Aussie, but I am not sure whether I could find a job there and/or employers there would want to hire such person like me.
While for applying working visa, I have looked through all posts above and I am still in doubt that whether I could obtain the points as required by the visa. Anyone here can guide me through, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks! |

English language competency level: 10 pts Overseas skilled employment in nominated skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation: not quite sure Australian skilled employment in nominated skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation (The maximum points awarded for any combination of overseas and Australian skilled employment is 20 points): not quite sure Educational qualifications: Bachelor 15 pts Australian study qualification: N/A Other factors: N/A Nomination/Sponsorship: N/A So far 55 pts. Should be able to obtain 60. Based on the link provided above: http://www.migrationdesk.com/threads/point...immigration.24/ Not sure this guidelines are outdated, if so, please provide me |

QUOTE(daylight_dancer @ Jul 17 2016, 06:08 PM) Agents- I used Global Migration. Thank you.You can try them, or Austral; I've heard decent things about them too. There is one that starts with R--- that you should steer clear off. I did heaps of reserach before engaging an agent, and Global was recommended by a friend who used them and got his visa sorted really fast. I assume that you have your visa sorted out as well. How long have u stayed in Aussie already? |

QUOTE(Soony @ Jul 19 2016, 11:43 PM) Start by visiting the immi website to see whether you qualify for their point system (min requirement 60 points). If you do, then you can DIY your own application or get an approved agent to do it for you. Speaking of which, I am a law grad from UK (but Malaysian) and here is my score pointFeel free to ask any questions here.
