Hiring an immigration consultant might be the best bet to know your eligibility and chances.

Of course, if you can transfer via employer - that would be good as well as that essentially gets you the same/similar job in Australia.

From what I read in this forum, most have difficulty looking for a same/similar role as before.

I have only used one immigration consultant and it was an on-shore consultant where I am residing in (Singapore at that time).
So I can't comment on offshore as I have no used them before.

People told me I can do all this by myself but I do it because I wanted to save time (pay $ to save time) and also to get a higher rate of success (pay $ to buy confidence level).

I guess with on-shore - I can easily call the agent without worrying about my phone bills and if all fails, rock up to their office .

Can't advise much unfortunately.

Oh, I thought the 3% is for Malaysian tax resident, mainly people who are considered as tax resident in Malaysia and having overseas income, eg, property rental income in overseas.

If you're a tax residence in Au (even though you are a Malaysian), and you remit money back, I thought it is exempted?
