anyway, i can help out the definition of portfolio.

Portfolio is actually can be used by any service providers, no matter it is digital or anything relates to mechanical parts. A portfolio consist of part works, experiences, case studies, galleries.. or even some summary of past works progress.

A portfolio is like your skill / service capabilities library where potential clinets will loook into that rather asking you to do live demo of your every skills / service. It is important to have a portfolio if you are a service provider.
