The company's volume is illiquid and lacks the dividend attraction though...
Tasek is better though... This post has been edited by ILoveLalat.net: Nov 15 2015, 09:30 PM |

I've also been looking at this stock, P/E wise is quite attractive. However, dividend yield is pathetic...
But, this could be a potential future cash cow stock, but when will they start having a better payout? It's like ages already their DY being pathetic... |

I have been keeping tabs for 5 years on Allianz but I am not sure anything attractive on to it. Apart from Tasek, I'm good on United Plantations.

I Don know how much you bought for tasek but existing price are definitely too expensive. Dividend payout more than eps |

Revive this tered a bit. Saw this counter and the sudden increase in the dividend since 2018. From 12 sen to 40 sen for ordinary shares.
But idk if I should buy the pref share or the ordinary share. The pref share very illquid, but about the same price as ordinary shares with 1.2x div of ordinary. |

undervalued, no doubt. But, disadvantage would be liquidity, if want to cash out then might not have enough buyers..

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Oct 22 2020, 04:44 PM) If want insurance company, can also consider takaful. Higher DY, higher growth. However, also illiquid stock Takful seems a bit overvalue in my view. It has the highest PB among the other insurers and has comparable dividend yields to Allianz based on this peer comparison by Affin Hwang. Though its high ROE certainly is attractive.![]() |
