ya. drop to 1.79 @_@".
true enough, gain experience on this.
the most tempered things to convince me buy, is the latest quarter report is double of last year quarter..
will take note on this.

thanks for sharing bro,
i will keep it until raise back,
maybe have to chance strategy,
breakeven then sold it.
see how as it later.. @_@"

If things are bad, sell now. Don't wait until breakeven.
Use the money to invest in better stocks.

No sifu here. You have my respect for picking 3 solid stocks. IMHO, based on various factors including valuation, fundamental, DY, momentum, etc, the rankings are:-

1.  Tien Wah
2.  KimHin
3.  CBIP

I am also tempted to buy Tien Wah!

In return, I give you Johore Tin. Have a look at it.
*
May I know your reasons for buying Tien Wah?
Its past results weren't consistent. I don't think it is in a cyclical industry.

1. Company which come rain or shine will be there. Something people need even though economy is bad.
2. Company with strong balance sheet (better if zero debts, if got debts, must be low, if high debts, must be shown able to decrease the amount over the years)
3. Company which are shareholder friendly
4. Company which are able to grow revenue/net profit margin, dividend
*
- with wide economic moat
- generous to shareholders (not like kiamsiap Genting boss)

Cash flow statement is the best section to see it. It will appear in the investing activity part.

Probably not. Cash may not be received immediately after disposal of properties.

Pink Spider please advise.

Fair price as of last financial results. When new quarterly results are announced, there might be new fair price.

does it mean that all 'fair price' get 'expired' a day before the release quarterly report?
*
Not necessary. If the results are 'as expected', the fair value retains.

OTOH, if there are good news/bad news in between quarterly results, fair value may change.

how (or rather where) do you normally reference the 'fair value' and 'expectation'?
*
This one you have to ask Avengelice since he is the one who keeps talking about fair value and target price laugh.gif

I have my own criteria, which may not be some as others'...

What I am trying to say is: selling a stock when it's target price is reached may not be a good idea, as there may be a new, higher target price before long.

Lotus (the car maker) was 'cash flow positive' in 2016.

What does the 'cash flow' here referring to?

Meaning, you pick stocks based on NTA because you think you will get something back in case of liquidation.

But I wouldn't touch a atock with significant risk of liquidation lah...
