I never follow those recom one lah..

Most of time they say buy, the stock already up to the gills and ready to drop..

If they say hold, sometimes stock time to rebound..

If they put sell (which they ALMOST never, since they will lose access to the company) .. the stock probably gonna bankrupt soon.. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

And cease coverage.. means they (the sharks) give up liao.. mega_shok.gif

I ignore TP and the buy/sell recom all together never look also. I also ignore all those 2-3 year forward projection macam they got crystal ball like that.. doh.gif

I read the backstory, current narrative, the future expansion/outlook etc.. only. The most also check PE and DY.. also. icon_rolleyes.gif

That book is suitable for LONG term counters and apek style investing only ha.. since the info they give already 6 months old.. tongue.gif

But at least give you backstory of the stock.. and if it interest you, do more current/updated research rclxms.gif

He hard core value investor de.. and he hold his stocks in years..

You can buy digital version as well.. at www.dynaquest.com.my .. but i like the actual book.. and its very heavy..2-3 kg sweat.gif

reason,..

If based solely at CPO price, SOP will move more more if CPO up or down... while CBIP will be mostly stable as they have very little plantation

Another thing i don't like sarawak based plantation.. tongue.gif

The way you punt the stocks and play goreng.. if you are a real fund manager, already goreng sotong. laugh.gif

Real fund managers are a timid lot.. they mostly just want to beat KLCI by a little bit and not lose their pants..on wrong investment. So end up all crowd into big big stocks. ... as long as end of month ada paycheck come out.. innocent.gif

You need to do more indepth research lar... otherwise misleading.

GFM is a RTO from AsiaEP, so it is essentially a new company, past results is irrelevant.

NTA is 14 SEN.. not RM based on diluted shares

You can never see the PE only.. have to consider other things. Basically the profit growth ...

Basically still not my cup of tea..

On tech I have scicom... look at the PE and DY compared to performance it is getting. Used to have inari which gave me a few bagger.. innocent.gif

Other tech stocks i like is KESM and MPI.. all selling at reasonable price compared to the stellar performance.

Also GFM is not a tech company.. it is a facilities management company.. a service company. Pretty low tech according to their service description. But can get consistent income lar... growth will depend if they can get more buildings to manage. Basically if your toilet bowl at office rosak, you call them if they are managing the building. laugh.gif

Bah.. you just naming counters randomly kah? tongue.gif PE is not everything..

One look already can see the PE is inflated... on 4QR, got extra income of 6.2 million on 'fair value increase' on investment property... ie. artificial profit.

After minus that out actual profit is only ~2.4 mil.. flattish profit less growth and the PE will be 'revised' to 23x..

Again not my cup of tea.. whistling.gif

I really suggest you read further into the accounts rather than read the PE outright.. you fall into less trap..

Real profit will come from cold hard cash your customers pay you after you pay your supplier, staff, upkeep and maintenance.

All 'fair value increase' in investment property do is increase your NTA, it does not pay you any cash, unless of course unless you sell it. But if you sell it, you get less income since it is an investment property.

You are obviously just skimming the QR report, read more indepth la.. innocent.gif
