I'm no chartist...

But from my novice eyes, it starts to drop back to a more "reasonable" price wink.gif

Trading at 13 times P/E now
Palm Oil segment is overtaking Timber as major contributor, at 52% of revenue and 60% of PBT, the % is only going to rise going forward icon_idea.gif
What's the P/E of other Palm Oil players? Mostly >20 times P/E innocent.gif

Affected by timber

Pure plantation should have better results. Like Kmloong

QUOTE
(KIML MK/BUY/RM3.49/Target: RM4.20)

Post luncheon, we remain positive on KIML’s outlook. 4QFY17 results are likely to be better qoq on the back of higher CPO prices. For FY18, we are more conservative and maintain our FFB production growth forecast of 18.8% yoy vs management’s guidance of 23.8% yoy as the recovery at Sabah might not be as strong as we expect, especially in 1H17. All in all, we raise our FY17 net profit estimate by 13% and maintain FY18-19 net profit forecasts. Maintain BUY. Target price: RM4.20.

Try pick up the book Reminiscences of a Stock Operator.
It's 100 years plus and it's a damn good read.

I think it's a rather shallow thinking to think that traders just trade blindly.
And yes, many traders do trade base on a company fundamentals.
And like I said many times before, I use charts and I never do allow the chart to use me.

Try to develop your own skill sets and then focus mainly on what you are good at.
Never, ever try to follow others.

I like this quote:
QUOTE
It seems incredible that knowing the game as well as I did and with an experience of twelve or fourteen years of speculating in stocks and commodities I did precisely the wrong thing. The cotton showed me a loss and I kept it. The wheat showed me a profit and I sold it out. It was an utterly foolish play, but all I can say in extenuation is that it wasn't really my deal, but Thomas'. Of all speculative blunders there are few greater than trying to average a losing game. My cotton deal proved it to the hilt a little later. Always sell what shows you a loss and keep what shows you a profit. That was so obviously the wise thing to do and was so well known to me that even now I marvel at myself for doing the reverse.

When i saw bad quarter results many months ago, i sold off all Jtiasa and some Padini. One right decision, one wrong decision.
