Another beautiful day at the giant casino. My portfolio is still rising thanks to PPHB, KESM and Superlon, among others.

I sent my reinforcement troops into PPHB this morning. At closing, PPHB has surged 5.98%. My unrealised losses fin PPHB has now narrowed to -0.402% compared to more than -7% last Friday. I hope this can turn into another Astino.

I took a peek at VIS which I sold last Friday. It has surged another +11.27%. So l 'lost' another few thousand ringgit for selling off too early. W can't have everything in life. Time for me to study TA?

Looking to sell off HAIO soon. Vitrox is not moving. I may have to turn into a mid term investor for this stock. Nothing to buy today. Studying warrants now. Have to seek guidance from the sifus here soon. sweat.gif

Good morning folks. Today I broke one of my promise which is not to buy warrants. I have now decided to try it out. Same rules applies. Limited to 20% of my overall portfolio and with cold hard cash to settle at T+3 if necessary.

I just bought Eco World International Warrant. I am late to the party as usual. I think it closed at RM0.305 yesterday. I could only buy it at the price of RM0.405 about 9.05 a.m. As we speak, it has now soared to RM0.435. My profit has ranged between 7% to 9% in 10 minutes.

This is utter madness. No wonder they said that in some markets, structured warrants are treated as penny stocks. Now I understand why. sweat.gif

EWINT-WA is running out of steam already. So fast? Now the share price is floating downwards to around RM0.410. It has gone up about 34% since this morning.

Did I read the report correctly which says that it went up 6000% yesterday? This means that if one invested RM40K yesterday, the profit today will be RM2.4 million? confused.gif

Surely there is something wrong with my calculations, sifus?

The warrant is offered for free (to shareholders), hence the cost for calculation is 0.005... all the % for first day trade can be ignored.

Before you start playing warrant, can you calculate the premium and leverage or not?  If cannot means you are rolling money in casino..  tongue.gif

Oh I see. Thanks for the info Gark.

Right now I am rolling money in the casino only. Penjaga Van has much to learn. sweat.gif

Understand what is warrant.

Wah... 45%premium...

Stock price now 1.27, Wa price is 0.41, Conversion is 1.45

Total breakeven price = 1.45+0.41 = 1.86

Time to expiry = 5 years

CAGR on EWINT required to breakeven = 7.93%

So IF  the mother can grow at least 7.93% each year and reach RM 1.86 then you can breakeven, and if more than that you will earn.

Key is ~8% annual growth.. can or not?  tongue.gif

I have sold off HAIO just now by contra trading.

I am moving on to other stocks. Last week, I bought Vitrox.

Today I wish to introduce you to My EG Services (MYEG) which I will be buying. The current market price is RM1.940 whilst the TP by Kenanga is RM2.80. The potential upside is therefore about 44%. Currently it is up about 2.11% today. In Absolutely Stocks, the Valuation is 1.1/3 whilst the Fundamental is 2.3/3. It is also featured in the Chartist Picks.

Please do your own further research and see whether it is worthwhile investing your hard earned money in MYEG.

May the odds be ever in your favour. thumbsup.gif

when u have all time value warrants, watch out cause when volatility decreases, your premium drops fast, hence the value too, especially after the dust settles or during consolidations.

Vanguard 2015 what is SA rating for E&O and GENM?
*
Rating for E&O is 4 and the rating for GENM is 8.

IMHO, we should stay away from E&O. There are a lot of other better stocks out there.

QUOTE(lowya @ Apr 4 2017, 03:34 PM)
based on earning calculation or some analyst/goreng number?
*
Analyst goreng. At the most conservative, the potential upside is 10%. MYEG has an economic moat? This is potentially money on the street. Question is do we dare to take the calculated risk to pick the money up?

In the market there's no one right answer.

End of the day, money is yours you can do whatever you want.

Why did you edit your original post my friend? It was very meaningful and I wanted to reply to that. Especially the part where you said that whatever knowledge we gain stay with us until the day we die. That statement I agree 100%.

I would even go one step further. Why not share the knowledge we have for the benefit of the younger generation? There is no point in keeping all the knowledge we have and bringing it to our graves. icon_rolleyes.gif
