Dear all, I would like to have a simple survey/poll on the preference of investors while investing into Unit Trusts via the numerous distribution channels available in Malaysia.

Fund supermart is my best choice for buying unit trust because of the lower sales charge of 2% only and 1% for recommended funds.. Somemore, there is no discrimination and bias in all fund recommendations in the website.

Easy also to sell unit trust online compared to the situation where the unit trust is brought through unit trust agent because normally unit trust agent will discourage you to sell the fund.

It seems like many people prefer to go with online platform which is a great way.

But does anyone here knows what is a Wrap Account?

I think is agent. Trying to sell stuff or trying to find ways to counter online transcation so that his own sales can go up.

TS asks in this forum, sure a lot of people answer 'online platform'. But out there many still rely on agents. The sample is not representative.

from what i read thru these many months,
i believe that there are
some that had investment thru it
some are working with it
some does not have the the capital for it
some does not like it for the yearly operating cost
some does not know what it is?
