Developer change name of the property after signing S&P for almost 2 years. Is it legal to do that???

Normally there is a clause in the SPA which states that the project will provisionally be known as ____ and is subject to final approval by the authorities.

it's quite common cos the local authority are the one that approves.
but after 2years signing s&p, abit weird. Project doesn't sell well on the earlier name? |
