PENANG: The Star Education Fair 2008 in Penang, the northern region's biggest one-stop education showcase, will be held at the Penang International Sports Arena (Pisa), Relau, here on March 1 and 2.

The fair, featuring over 100 exhibitors with more than 200 booths, will be open from 11am to 7pm on both days.

At least 40,000 people are expected to visit the fair, which is in its eighth year. Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Ong Tee Keat will open the fair.

The fair provides students and school leavers an avenue to find the latest information on programmes and get the best study options and institution choices available.

Among the major exhibitors are the Higher Education Ministry, KDU College, Singapore Education, Kolej Disted-Stamford and Inti International College.

A series of education and career talks will also be held during the two days. The topics are Options After SPM, Studying and Working: Personal Experience, Funding Higher Education, Physics, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, and Medicine and Dentistry.

Representatives of Star-Jobs Online, The Star's recruitment portal, will also be present during the fair to give advice on the process of applying for jobs via the portal.

Admission to the fair is free.

Greetings All,

Just wanna share my expewrience with you guys.Recently i went for the APIIT info day and trust me man... the College is superb. never tot there's such colleges in m'sia.Damn Hi-Tech man. and the people there...damn friendly..especially the ones who were explaining to me on the courses.And the courses seems to be among the top rated ones in M'sia.
i think i'll go for it.
Anything else that i must know of before i register for APIIT?
