Hahaha....
Want gossip a little bit here.
The screen brightness of RN2 for sure lose to Mi3 with max brightness 467 nit, Mi3 max brightness can go up till 557 nit.
But contrast ratio wise, RN2 screen is higher contrast with darker black on bright screen. This means that at the same brightness, RN2 black level is better than Mi3, but the different is not much.
Normally I'm using the phone with just half brightness. Anything that actually reach more than 250 nit hurt my eye.
The Galaxy S3 screen is the most dim screen with just 330nit max brightness, so don't say it will more bright than the RN2 screen.

Less ppi = Less sharp? Can naked eye tell the different?
I have a 6" 1080p screen, with just 368 ppi, a 5.5" 2K screen with 534ppi, 5" 1080p screen with 441 ppi, and this RN2 with 401 ppi.

By no means I can tell any different between the sharpness among the screen, I only can differentiate among the screen quality where viewing angle, contrast and color reproduction differ more obvious among screen.
So, the 6" screen is just as sharp, small text display are crisp and clear, even fine detail is shown properly, no pixelate effect.

Indeed, I found the 6" phone screen is more enjoyable to watch.
I actually found the 6" screen show more detail to my eye where the 5.5" or 5" screen can't show, it directly zoom everything bigger, so the smaller detail also much easier to be noticed by naked eye.

Compare side by side with the 5" 1080p screen, of course 5" screen will magically look sharper, this is because our brain and eye will perceive everything that look smaller is sharper,
but when displaying the same content, both screen actually remain sharp, then the 6" screen actually show more fine detail than the small screen.

Then, by zooming out the content to make the text on 6" screen to have the same physical size as the 5" screen, then the 6" screen will look more sharper than 5" screen.
It is our brain trick.

Even screen at 7", 1080p is still plenty sharp with 323 ppi, so virtually on smartphone, any screen with 1080p actually virtually eliminate the pixelate effect that you normally can see on normal LCD monitor or LCD TV.

order tv ape? hisense 40inch tu ke? kasi review siket  biggrin.gif

Should be the Hisense 40" Full HD LCD TV la, the cheapest among 40" LCD TV.
Once saw cheapest sold at Courts Malaysia for RM780, D50 model.

But personal advice is don't buy Hisense la, cos saw many unit broken at display store (image become distorted, picture become low contrast, not that durable in use)
For around RM100 or RM200 more, you may found some other branded 40" Full HD LCD TV unit from Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp and Philips, their lowest end model, all comes with 2 HDMI, just without the 3D and smart TV, internet feature.

wanted to use it for google cardboard
they say the bigger dpi the better for cardboard

they say, not me say.

I own this VR Box.
I can say, even 534ppi is not enought for pixelate free viewing experience, so forget 441ppi or 401ppi.

You need something much higher, maybe the newest Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with 4K resolution, 806 ppi is the answer.

However, I also found out that the graphic chip and the apps is not optimized to render in VR mode, making the viewing material are very low detail, and low resolution. Even with 534ppi, it doesn't improve much on viewing quality.

So, speaking of VR, need future Android updates or more powerful graphic chip, better processor, much higher resolution screen for high quality VR experince. Current/Previous generation smartphones are not ready for VR.

better just buy bracket,on cabinet tv can fall down

Actually no bracket also no problem la, won't fall down easily, the TV stand and the TV are heavy enough that even wind blow can't fall.

Max discount only rm30. Not much choice for value-for-money items. Took me hours to search for the right item and finally bought EZcast for rm68-rm30discount+rm6shipping=rm44.
*
Just for product comment.
EZCast is not as good, lag very much on Miracast, and the bandwidth for casting is limited, resulting very grainy picture.
Then, it's DLNA feature always need buffering, won't continuous play.

OH shucks, too late to cancel order cos today is already in shipping mode. But the reviews of this particular product's link were good, not dependable? Thought I will use it to stream downloaded movies from my notebook to TV.
*
I has bought one unit la, around 5 month ago.... Really not dependable.
I have tested with every Android phone and a Windows 10 tablet, all result are pretty not satisfied.
Even the output from my Windows 10 tablet looks grainy.
It lag a lot until the picture freeze, cannot keep up with the phones mirroring output.

The unit also is very buggy, will self restart itself, self disconnect if it's processing load is too heavy.
It's Youtube cast feature also is very slow, has little to no online streaming channel as well.
DLNA also very buggy, the thing I don't really like is the buffering, when your movie file is too big, it buffer more, means the movie just stop for buffering, then will continue play after buffering complete.
I stream movie from my desktop PC, and really don't has the buffering thing on my Bluray Player, or the Samsung Home Theater.

The only thing I don't has chance to test is with Apple iPhone for the Airplay feature.

I have a Samsung Home Theater that also has Miracast function as a comparison, that Samsung beat this in every aspect, but not a fair comparison la.

BTW can reviews be doctored, all sounds similar or repeated.

I would say, all these are not in depth review.
Then most comment only mention fast delivery, less on actual product review.

Maybe for it's asking price, the performance is already consider not bad? (I don't know la)
There are other brand out there (Wecast, Anycast, Allcast, Measy, Tronsmart, AVF, Easycast, iPush)
All are China OEM, don't know if performance is different or they basically are the same, because physically they look the same, just branding is different.

What about the original google cromecast RM179? will it do the job?
*
Chromecast is just a streaming service stick, that support various streaming like Netflix, iFlix, Youtube, Google Play Movie, TED, Red Bull TV.
It needs fast internet to do the streaming.

It is not a Miracast or DLNA device by using just LAN or Local WiFi without internet.
With some apps, it can perform Miracast's and DLNA's like service, by sending the cast content over the internet, then downloaded by the Chromecast stick to your TV.

So, Chromecast stick is actually less feature than the Ezcast stick.

These streaming service now direct integrated into Smart TV, Android TV and Internet TV, with built in Miracast and DLNA capability.

Chromecast 2 pun boleh cast screen daaa....wat lecey betoi..

Hmm... Maybe the new updates enable Chromecast has the Wi Fi cast feature.

This is the Ezcast stick that I own, casting quality is not good.
You need to install the Ezcast apps to operate.
I can connect device like Redmi Note 2 to it.
So far, my Samsung Home Theater works much better than this Ezcast.
