QUOTE(ckweng @ Dec 28 2015, 10:39 AM) Has anybody received their Redmi Note 2 (RM699, 1 Year XiaoMi Malaysia Warranty) yet? if you have, do you mind to check with Mi Malaysia (through CS chat or toll-free line) to confirm on it's local warranty status? Thanks! Aren't I told u it's ORIGINAL XIAOMI MALAYSIA LOCAL MANUFACTURER WARRANTY ? How many times u want to post on this question ?Time to add into ignore list This post has been edited by ^Ware^wolf: Dec 28 2015, 04:56 PM |

QUOTE(ckweng @ Dec 28 2015, 05:26 PM) Since you've picked on me again, I've taken the time to search for each of your posts at Xiaomi RN2 thread. Not once have you stated that you have checked your IMEI with Mi Malaysia that it's confirmed under local warranty. In fact, you had conflicting statements on whether its warranty is valid or not. If you have not gone through the process of confirming your IMEI with Mi Malaysia, please do not dismiss anybody who is asking bout this. Lol..hahahhahahhaBy the way, i know how to read the fine print. Yes, both Lazada and Gemfive also claimed 1-year XiaoMi local warranty. I have reasonable basis to probe further on what it is claimed by Gemfive. This is because I have earlier bought the "sold and fulfilled by Lazada" unit and the warranty status was in a confusing state. I lodged a case with Lazada CS and they replied that IMEI needs to be updated to Mi's database for warranty to be valid. After Lazada informed Mi Malaysia of the issue, I rechecked with Mi Malaysia and finally my IMEI is in their system. What i'm asking is also for the benefit for prospective buyers. I'm sure that this is stg that ppl here will find relevant, maybe just not you. If you're unable to help, please kindly ignore and look elsewhere. Also, there is no need to use your high-handed method to reply to other ppl's post. You have failed to understand my basis and jumped to your own conclusion. Please be fair to others as this is a forum for everybody to ask relevant questions. I have double triple check ,even post the screenshot . when u saw the posts I stated not under mi msia warranty ,that's simply bcoz I was very frustrated ppl keep asking and ask, before search for previous post. This is no relevant questions ....this is spam post . simply bcoz answer alredi provided in previous post.if ur no comfortable to buy frm gemfive or lazada, juz go ahead to mi msia to buy. That's very easy . Each repeating post will confuse ppl .I think a lot ppl keep asking .. I should have learn to ignore it now . |

QUOTE(ckweng @ Dec 31 2015, 02:16 PM) Hey guys, just a quick check on RN2 at Gemfive. Given that it's a global set, the LTE bands are TDD/FDD LTE ready and works perfectly with local telcos' 4G? Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks a lot! maxis postpaid and umobile prepaid tested . no problems getting 20-30mbps at anytime provided signal is good |

QUOTE(RevanChrist @ Jan 1 2016, 01:21 PM) My answer is not theoretical. I'm owner of both Redmi Note 2 and Asus Padfone S. I underclock my RN2 to 1.4Ghz ..brightness about 40% , SOT 5hours 20mins ,using 3G and WiFi 50%.Btw, you compared M2 Note and K3 Note which uses a MT6753 to a Redmi Note 2 which uses MT6795 and claim because RN2 has lower battery life than the former two, therefore it is worse than Snapdragon 801. Do you even realise that M2 Note and K3 Note uses MT6753 and MT6752 SoC respectively? MT6752 is a 8-core 1.7Ghz A53 CPU+Mali T720 MP2 GPU. MT6753 is a 8-core 1.3Ghz A53 CPU+Mali T720 MP3 GPU. MT6795 is a 8-core 2.0-2.2Ghz A53 CPU+PowerVR G6200 GPU. Both of them are lower clocked and lower performance in terms of CPU and GPU performance, and not to mentioned their RAM speed and all other feature sets. This is like comparing an i3 CPU to an i5 CPU and claim the i5 is shitty, because it consumes way more power than the i3. And Krait 400 is a custom modified A15 cores from Qualcomm, it performs much better than generic A15 it does not consume any lesser power. |
