Has anybody received their Redmi Note 2 (RM699, 1 Year XiaoMi Malaysia Warranty) yet? if you have, do you mind to check with Mi Malaysia (through CS chat or toll-free line) to confirm on it's local warranty status? Thanks!

Since you've picked on me again, I've taken the time to search for each of your posts at Xiaomi RN2 thread. Not once have you stated that you have checked your IMEI with Mi Malaysia that it's confirmed under local warranty. In fact, you had conflicting statements on whether its warranty is valid or not. If you have not gone through the process of confirming your IMEI with Mi Malaysia, please do not dismiss anybody who is asking bout this.

By the way, i know how to read the fine print. Yes, both Lazada and Gemfive also claimed 1-year XiaoMi local warranty. I have reasonable basis to probe further on what it is claimed by Gemfive. This is because I have earlier bought the "sold and fulfilled by Lazada" unit and the warranty status was in a confusing state. I lodged a case with Lazada CS and they replied that IMEI needs to be updated to Mi's database for warranty to be valid. After Lazada informed Mi Malaysia of the issue, I rechecked with Mi Malaysia and finally my IMEI is in their system.

What i'm asking is also for the benefit for prospective buyers. I'm sure that this is stg that ppl here will find relevant, maybe just not you. If you're unable to help, please kindly ignore and look elsewhere.

Also, there is no need to use your high-handed method to reply to other ppl's post. You have failed to understand my basis and jumped to your own conclusion. Please be fair to others as this is a forum for everybody to ask relevant questions.

Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you very much! notworthy.gif rclxms.gif Nobody is slave or master here, just people with mutual interest helping each other out. Btw, try to look for a chat support named "Leen" to help check the IMEI. You can also call Mi Malaysia service centers to check IMEI on their system.

I also took the trouble to cross-check with Lazada & Xiaomi on my current unit so that others will not be confused.

Lol..hahahhahahha

I have double triple check ,even post the screenshot . when u saw the posts I stated not under mi msia warranty ,that's simply bcoz I was very frustrated ppl keep asking and ask, before search for previous post.

This is no relevant questions ....this is spam post . simply bcoz answer alredi provided in previous post.if ur no comfortable to buy frm gemfive or lazada, juz go ahead to mi msia to buy. That's very easy .

Each repeating post will confuse ppl .I think a lot ppl keep asking .. I should have learn to ignore it now .

Good news for those who wants to get Redmi Note 2 at Gemfive, my unit is covered by Xiaomi Malaysia, after verify the IMEI numbers with them.

The unit is sold by a shop located at Puchong, according to the tax invoice.

Bought @ RM524, the best deal ever!

I believe I have shared that I checked my IMEI with Mi Malaysia and they verified it's Mi Malaysia warranty. This question has been asked too many times and answered too many times already. Hope you are clear and the rest as well. Need to ask the TS to edit this in the 1st page.
