I really want to play this game..... icon_question.gif

But with the problems surrounding the company who actually promotes the game here really is a pain. Do i really have to resolve buying from US. cry.gif

I hope TSB could actually get us the US version. Its gonna costs us RM140 anyway.

But wait, Play-Asia is selling the US version with free shipping!!! rclxms.gif

Tried it, Played it, No Adware.......... but somewhat empty. shakehead.gif
I pray that the retail version is not like this. cry.gif Otherwise we will have to make do with future patches. The FPS is somewhat .............well.............bad. I had more fun with the Jericho demo.

I'll give it a chance seeing that we haven't really got to the point that we start killing things by the hundreds yet.

Otherwise, i'm just sticking with Tabula Rasa. brows.gif

I hope Flagship isn't really going to tell us that this is really what we are getting in the end. cry.gif DX9 or 10, that really should'nt be the issue.
Many games have run and looked good without the DX10 support. The gameplay was somewhat stail and the FPS reminds me of something i played 8 years ago. shakehead.gif
If Hellgate London don't do well, it game over for Flagship. All the hype and high expectations...........NO!!!!!!!!!

cry.gif Unless ofcourse the demo is a beta version release. If so i would be somewhat relieved. Cause this can't possibly be THE game that we expected. Due to this, i will refirm myself from buying it yet until i read a review or if my friends bought it first.
But if this be true, i really feel sorry for those who pre-ordered the Collectors Edition. cry.gif I don't want this game to be another Grenado Espada!!!!!

Not to say that demo's are meant to be unfnished version of the retail, but most companies just won't do what Flagship did. blink.gif
Yes, demos are not meant to be the whole game experiance nor the finished product. But look at Jericho, I downloaded it and played for a short while. While the game was short, the gameplay was beautiful. rclxms.gif Demos are suppose to be like what Codemaster did with Jericho. A good presentation of the game.
For those who haven't played Clive Barker's Jericho, please do download it. It a great game with the M rating and i see why.
I respect Flagships own view of this, but did they really have to release such a bad demo? hmm.gif Business wise....?
For those who are still sceptical, i think Flagship is feeling the pain. If this be true, the only way thay can fix this is with a huge patch.
If not its gonna go the way of Vanguard: Saga Of Heroes and Grenado Espada. And we know how those turned out. cry.gif

Miyabi:- I'm talking about the hype factor, Grenado espada though not great was quite hyped back then, so was Vanguard. The worst fate that could actually happen to Hellgate London is that. cry.gif To make things worst IAH is the host for Hellgate London..............

Okay, before i commit to this game. I would like to ask you guys. blink.gif

Today i went to software boutique, they had the collectors edition nicely displayed in the front counter. However i also noticed that it has the IAH symbol on it...........

On Play-asia thay are selling the US version for RM164. RM 30 more then the local release. So which 1 would you guys get. Is there a region block on either of this versions. Plus they have comfirmed with me that it will be in at the end of the month. biggrin.gif

With the recent complaints on IAH i realy don't want to have to buy it yet until i know its safe for the gamers to put their hard earn money into the local version. Plus with the recent news about how Flagship wants to review their charge rates really gets me thinking twice.

Just called Software boutique, and they said that Hellgate London will definately be in store on Wednesday this week. rclxms.gif
I'm really getting the itchy, there are more then 1 new title coming on that day. Unreal 3 is also good. Will be getting the normal version but still have doubts about the game. But considering what the beta players have been saying, i guess i will risk RM 139.00 to see what Flagship reallyt have been doing all this time.

I have bought and installed the game. Played it for awhile now and here is my review.

The game is decent in sense that if you like going aroung on the mutiplayer servers and go kick demon ass. Nice story and presentation, but overall the gameplay does feel a little out. Maybe because the game was too hype up to the point we expected so much from Flagship.

And the monthly fee to further into the story and more content is kinda reasonable. But i will doubt people will be taking it seriously unless Flagship do something a little more drastic. The world feels more closed in then WOW, which is what its meant to be.

Is this game good? Is this game bad? Does it suck?

My answer is that it was too hype up to begin with. I still see more room for future improvement on patches and stuff. Would i reccomend it?

Yes. I would give Flagship some time to realise the bugs and other empty slots that could have made this game great. Besides, i do want flagship to release an expansion somewhere in the future.

Hi, me again, and here is another review'

As i went trough the game, i notice that things start to look more interesting. In the beginnig of the game, thing are just simply .......well lame. But later you will notice that this game actually have some sense of purpose.

The single player part of the game is just crap. there really is no point to play it unless you have time to watse. However the multiplayer part is somewhat growing on me and starts to feel that this game was really meant to be an online game after all. rclxms.gif and thing just get harder as you go.

I also notice that there are various bugs and crashes that happen when things get too intense. vmad.gif But i guess those will be sorted out with patches. Still i am left wondering if FSS is actually holding out on us. There seems to be so much things that could be implemented to make this game good. flex.gif Extra maps, storylines quests, new clasess and such.

And since no one here has done the subscription thing yet, we won't actually know if its good. But latency so far has not been a problem. I haven't teamed up with anybody so i won't know how that will go.

As an update, i say give the studio a year before we see something that will make ours eyes bleed. And prey that they know what they are doing.

Considering the very bad reputation of IAH with GE, many were already having second thoughts about buying the Asia version of the game. Even though the US version is having their own problems, it seem to be a more risk free choice then giving it to IAH.

But seeing that i never did bothered to continue playing GE to begin with..........i won't actually know how bad IAH is at managing that game. Give em a couple of months to clear the bugs out of Hellgate. The worst thing that could happen is that IAH losses the license for Hellgate if things get too problematic and then transfers it to a more suitable company.

Or they actually start to change, and gamers start to respect them (at least a little).

Guys, i can't believe i'm gonna say this........ but this game is actually good!!!

I have been playing for a while now from the first day till this very second and have come to the conclusion that single player is somewhat obselete.

But the multiplayer part...............god.
At later levels when you are up to some point a killing machine (lvl 13). You will be seeing things that would freak you out. From the begining is all (..........great another sewer, another road park...yawn.) until you come to this ( hey, this looks different.........whoa look at that. A huge mob of things for me to kill with my friends. Wait....... WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE AND WHAT IS THAT? blink.gif

I got quite a shock when this things came out of nowhere and started to gangrape me. The later monsters like to stay in big groups and supported by another group of different monsters. As a Blademaster i ussually wade through this things like butter. But not anymore, now i need people to help me in quest. this all happen when i went to this place called the Melinium Battle.

There are some bugs and fixes that really needs some serious attention. All in all i will activate my free 30days when things start to look a lot better.

Which brings me to a certain point to say, what happens when we actually sign up for the subscription. In very hard mode..... flex.gif

But you got to agree, things start to look up along the way through the game. rclxms.gif Now comes the IAH problems and technical problems.

Anybody want to restart the whole game and experiance the game at its fullest (somewhat)? biggrin.gif

We can group and kill demons for the hell of it. Cause right now i am dying a little too much at the Templar Station. blush.gif
The action is very intense and i am happy to say i'm addicted to just killing mobs and collecting weapons and armors.
