Now that there's poison in this thread, PM me by tomorrow 10am if you want the shell petrol station polybag and quantity. I *might* be able to help you get (of course bearing in mind that it will be VERY limited and might bring some disappointment). Just doing community service smile.gif

Only COD in KL please.

Closing this cause there's a bunch of PMs already.

Wah. Didn't check thread for a few hours and this happens! Cool and good work bro!

Hye guys I bought a Lego set just so I could join you guys! Haha

Do you guys randomly buy any sets that you like, or do you buy from specific series only? (Ninjago, City, Creator and whatnot)
*
Welcome and prepare to eat bread or Maggi only.

I collect mainly Batman, police sets and Modulars. Maybe abit of Star Wars.

QUOTE(Give_me_5ive @ Nov 20 2015, 10:14 PM)
Hi all, if I buying from Australia, how many Lego set maximum can be brought in to Malaysia?
*
Depends on luck. I brought back 2 Modulars from HK (by hand) 2 years ago safely without customs check.

Woke up this morning before workout and saw this. Sweet! It will come with an chest armor piece like those knights from Castle series.

My only complaint is the ears are not short as it should be in the movie. Still, I love the detailed suit print and the glowing eyes are a nice touch!

If I did memang kena puasa la sebulan laugh.gif
I'm starting with City now, especially the Police set, trying to collect all of the Police Lego set
*
Just saw this post. Police theme is never ending.

There's going to be a Prison Island next year as the police station set. There's also a very cool police car set. Also the starter set has a very nice bullet proof vest print for the male police.

You can try google the images.

Thanks. This was the Prison Police Station set that I was referring to. I guess the sites were asked to take down the leaked images cause I can't seem to find it online now ...

I like the UCS tumbler, and wanted to get it. Too bad it cannot be transformed (or pulled out) into a motorbike biggrin.gif

If they can do it, it's already in my house now biggrin.gif

No need to transform. It's good enough! I have it but still MISB 😜

Hmmm, I think that Millennium Falcon is going for $599.00 and it's one that comes with a square dish. I remember it being displayed in a "rare items - maximum one per person" shelf in the BIG Shop at Legoland Malaysia, but I didn't think of getting one, having spent quite a bit on admission fees and a couple of souvenirs (including the photo frame mentioned below) from the park! laugh.gif

I think one other place that still sells such end-of-life Lego Star Wars items is eBay, but most of them are used stuff though. Wonder whether it's a good idea to buy from these sellers or not? hmm.gif

However, there is something I got from Legoland which cannot be found at outside shops though - this cool picture frame that has "Legoland Malaysia" on it. Sad to say, even if it has been two weeks since we came back from JB-SG, I still haven't got the time to build the frame up yet! shakehead.gif

If it comes with the square dish, it's the new Millennium Falcon, it's from the new Force Awakens movie. It should be around RM 739.90 or so.

They're available at all LEGO shops and Toys R Us.

More Lego madness. As mentioned, I also have a rather extensive Technics collection - too numerous to list, and frankly, more than 80% of them are still MISB (too many plastic bits, too little time). The notable ones that I really like are like the Excavator (built & kept in cold storage already), and the Unimog (MISB) - shown in the photo below are 2 of my latest additions: the Volvo bulldozer & the Crane.

And while not related directly to Lego, since someone asked about my Lightsabers (after all, it's still Star Wars, haha), here's 3 of them:

Nice. I only have one which is the Master Replicas Force FX Anakin Skywalker.

Love the removable blade though. Wish they had this back then. Maybe when they issue the green Luke Lightsaber I might consider. Gave the old one a miss due to budget constraints.

And since SW Fever building up. My staff asked me to bring to office. He's a better model than I am.

And my boss having some fun with it. He collects Hot Toys and Statues. He was impressed with the Lightsaber and he might want to get some.

Hahaha, you're the opposite of me - my wife knows I like Lego AND Star Wars, and in fact, she was the one who asked me to buy the four spaceships (three were bought at the Star Wars showcase in MV on Sunday, with the fourth purchased two days ago at the Toys R Us in Jaya SC) and even told me to get the Darth Vader figure, when we saw it on display in MV! laugh.gif

Speaking of the Buildable Figures, I saw other characters like Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, a couple of Stormtroopers, etc. when at Brick Boys Toys but didn't see Luke's Dad there. Which means he's definitely a unique collector's item and not so easy to find! rclxms.gif
*
Toys R Us had restocks for Darth Vader recently. And they've just released photos of Wave 2: Captain Phasma, Stormtrooper, Rey and Finn. Not sure if I missed anyone out.

Walaweh you guys have huge Lego collections

One month how many set you buy?

Aku pun yang baru mula nih simpan duit 2-3 bulan baru dapat beli satu set jek laugh.gif
*
There's no fixed count for me. Sometimes none. Sometimes depending on theme or some other factor.

Foresee next year (2016) will be an expensive year for me.
Items on my radar are:
- ALL Batman v Superman sets
- Brick Bank Modular
- Ghostbusters Firehouse
- Some Star Wars sets
- Maybe some Police sets

This list is only for LEGO. I collect other stuff as well like action figures and Hot Toys so ... Yeah. Need a second job!

Or you can Jedi mind trick your wife "join the Dark side".

My wife didn't ban, but I ukur baju sendiri (one gaji for whole family - only one wife and 2 kids) thus I have missed out a lot.

Guess I have no choice but to miss the whole Speed Champions set as well as General Grevious buildavle character (4 lightsabers. Droolssssss)

Oh yeah, that's a Fishing Boat that I bought from S&J Gift Shop, a few years back. And there's also a large Titanic sitting on top of a display cupboard, which I ordered from an American seller via eBay (cost me around MYR700-plus!) - on the 100th anniversary of the ship's tragic sinking! rclxms.gif

Of course Lego is a passion of me and my 2nd brother, since we were in school (he's two years younger than me), and thanks to my son, that interest has been ignited once more. And because of that, I'm now always scheduling my gasoline fill-ups on Sundays, so that I will be able to get those Shell Lego collectibles on the first day they are available! laugh.gif

Like I posted earlier, my wife knows of my keen interest in both Lego and Star Wars, which is why she chided me for not buying that huge Millennium Falcon in the BIG Shop at Legoland Malaysia. However, it's fortunate that I saw it going for sale in places like that Lego shop in Tropicana City as well as the bigger Toys R Us stores (the IPC outlet has it)! thumbup.gif

Just curious. What is this big version of Falcon is at LEGOLAND? The UCS version? Haven't been there since my first trip in 2012.

For the Force Awakens Falcon, RM799 is a bit of a bargain comparatively- and this is before the usual 10% discount given, right?

For reference, Singapore sells it for $299 before 10%, while Australia sells it for AUD249 (no discount, but you get VIP points). I just sent my nephew one set, bought online from Lego Australia and with free delivery to his house (in Australia)
*
I believe the Force Awakens Falcon is going for RM 739.90 retail, which is a bargain compared to the previous release.

But then again, you don't get all the iconic characters in the new set compared to the previous release.

I'm not a die-hard SW fan but got the previous Falcon because of it's place in Pop-Culture history!

Hi bro, no. Got the keychains from LCS Curve. RM 14.90 for keychain, RM 5.00 for engraving service. Not sure if the service is available at all other outlets or not though.

Limited colours left at LCS Curve. Only black, red, pink and purple left.

Hi Bigfoot-X. Nice buys. I can easily understand "Roy" and "Rayden", but "HMS"? Heheh.

I call my domestic affairs manager "Her Majesty" or "SWMBO" (She who Must Be Obeyed) - maybe HMS is a new code word I can apply for SWMBO... biggrin.gif
*
HMS - Her Majesty's .... Slave?

Actually, that's my wife's initials. Haha. I guess HMS can be adopted to something else.
