hello my name is Yang.

I am looking for somewhere to stay near Jurong East MRT for a future job >.< (hopefully can get). Anywhere to recommend? Personal preference somewhere with economy rice or stall food haha. Budget erm...SGD500? less if possible more oso can la

seems like the trend is to hit on any females that are new here, so...erm...I am a male...please advice ya!

I do not think you can find a room with SGD 500 around jurong east MRT, try to look in Jurong West (no mrt, but quite convenient as there are many buses) or lakeside mrt... if you want cheaper, go pioneer, but there a lot of unskilled workers... if you know what i mean...

Food wise, every few hundered of m, normally will have a food court or small food court...

i kena stalk =.= ya i am quite good at processing palm oil, but not machinery, the entire process. Engineering and Procurement, but now change to Contractor's side, and future maybe back to sales due to erm...money.....
haha, best reply la notworthy.gif  i deal with blue collar workers quite often now, and i know what you mean. how about higher? maybe 700 to 800 sgd? i am looking for location with food, office most likely jurong east. Thinking bkt batok or NUS area, good choice?

Where is your office located at? IBP Jurong East?

Yes is around the budget, bear in mind normally you will need to stay with the house owner... pros and cons la stay with owner..

Bukit batok is cheaper i guess.. i'm not sure about there, but quite convenient, come out mrt already a shopping mall...

NUS area - clementi you mean? one of my favourite place, lots of facilities and nice food to eat... if you want to stay a location with food, i would suggest you look for a place near the clementi market, but not very near to mrt, try to check whether any buses passing by there to your office...

In my opinion, Jurong East is convenient, but lack of nice and cheap food (maybe i did not explore enough)... i prefer clementi better.. haha...

office wise erm...walking distance to the nearby mcd? friend staying in bkt batok, so thinking should stick there for the moment. i am willing to walk a bit further, 1-2km ok ba. depending, thinking wanna save for a 2nd house in malaysia.
ya cycling sometimes got rainy days, so better nearer to mrt or transport

it's ok, as long as your office is not at those industrial areas, buses and mrt are quite convenient.

Singapore very hot geh, those days I thought of walking here and there also, but now if have bus take bus, if have mrt take mrt, and if really fadup take taxi once a while... haha.. anyhow sure can save in singapore, if you can't save then you must be a big spender... haha..

unless you are fairly very experience in this field, if not it's kinda difficult to get a job in this sector for a foreigner.

Singaporeans like this job field.. so competition will be higher..!
