QUOTE(orangbulu @ Apr 21 2016, 04:30 PM) Resident rate is much lower than 15%. You can refer to Iras website to calculate your tax. If you intent to work more than 6 months it's fine Mind how to calculate? I have been worked since July 2015 till now. So far my employer didn't ask me to do filling income tax for Singapore. I did submit for Malaysia Income tax.

QUOTE(orangbulu @ Apr 21 2016, 04:50 PM) Take your total pay from July to Dec 2015 then compare it to the tax bracket on IRAS website. Also remember to apply for a singpass so that you can access your tax portal on IRAS Do we need pay resident tax also? Since I live in Singapore. Or require to pay if leaving Singapore

QUOTE(dreambox @ Apr 21 2016, 06:06 PM) Correct. If you've not filed your income tax yet and you have not received any communication from IRAS, then maybe it would be good to call them up to check and inform them of the situation. Unless, your total income in 2015 is less than $22,000. If it is less than $22,000 then you will not be taxed. Definitely lesser than $22,000. since not fully work for one whole year. So I might bypass to submit income tax.

QUOTE(vincentleong @ Apr 25 2016, 06:07 PM) Is an IPA acceptable in-lieu of permit card? I'm planning to get the bank account opened before I report for my first day. Once you get the permit card you can go immediately open account. I don't believe showing letter IPA which any bank allow you open account.

QUOTE(YoBro @ Jun 2 2016, 11:42 AM) Dear Sifus, I'm going to do medical check up in Singapore as required in EP pass application. I have few enquiries as explain below: 1. What documents do I need to bring along to do medical checkup other than the medical examination form provided by MOM? 2. My new company does not have specific panel clinic and any recommendation on where to do the check up? 3. How long does it take to fully complete the check up? In a hour or half a day? Hope to get sifu replies and excited to work in SG . Thanks in advance. 1. The MOM letter which given by your employer. Sure got one slip is related with SATA 2. As long the clinic with SATA should be okay SATA Medical Center3. Check up normally take roughly 1 hour to 2 hours depends crowd
