Hi all, I am a fresh grad (law) from UK and I would like to work in Singapore, is there any chance that I could enter a SG firm (who might have a connection with) to work (paralegal or otherwise - pls state via PM)?

I have an uncle who is a SG PR and there is no issue of accommodation.

Thank for ur advice, to my understanding, Singapore Bar Council now does not really recognise UK Bar, so I wonder if the partner u knew in Baker & McKenzie SG is a Singaporean and he practised back in few years?

If yes to both of the questions, I can understand why the firm would want to take him.

Your first friend who is a Malaysian and graduated in NUS is eligible to be admitted to Singapore Bar since s/he is graduated in Singapore local university.

As to your second friend, may I know s/he is working in which firm and that firm s/he is working with has a branch in Singapore issit?

Hi Guys, currently working in the investments department of Khaza*nah nasional. Am looking to work in SG.
