Thanks for the replies, I just signed the offer letter on Friday. Still worrying about the EP. I'm a fresh graduate, is it possible that they reject my application?

QUOTE(deodorant @ Jan 19 2016, 10:10 AM) Tally33 if you are on some sort of work pass, and you quit your job, the company is responsible to pay your tax directly to IRAS. Most companies will deduct the taxes due out of your last month's salary (and pay you the remainder). Your case is the first time I've heard of a company provisioning for this tax up front, though. $50 a month to me isn't really worth rocking the boat over, as long as you clarify with the company that eventually the money will be used to offset your tax liabilities to IRAS (and not songlap by the company). Thanks for the clarification yah.

Hi guys, may I know if i already signed offer letter with one company, but the ep application failed because they need to fulfill certain mom criteria, so they said they will reapply for me again. But meanwhile I got another offer from another company, if I were to accept the offer, what should I do? Can I just inform the first company to cancel the application for me?

QUOTE(Mackiddo @ Feb 4 2016, 06:31 PM) Just inform the first Co of your decision, compensate the Co according to whatever is written in the contract then I think you are good to move on to the 2nd Co. I see, thank you
uob
Thanks Tally33 if your spending is high enough, I'd recommend an airline-mileage accrual card. Example Citi PremierMiles (which I use for all my spending). Swipe card, collect miles, then redeem for air tickets.
Icic, thanks
citibank dividend card. good for cash back. but they gimme S$6k credit only, equivalent to my 3X months salary.
Thanks, but that's my one year salary man This post has been edited by Tally33: Feb 19 2016, 08:05 PM
