QUOTE(jules6002 @ May 13 2016, 11:59 AM) Hi sifu sifu out there, just wanna ask something regarding employment pass. I recently got offered a job in the banking industry and they help me apply for E-Pass. I was wondering how long will it take for the #-pass to be approve since i can't work in SG without it. Did u apply via jobstreet? If not wat job site u use?

QUOTE(deodorant @ Jun 9 2016, 08:32 AM) Apply what? Apply for work permit/pass? In Singapore you can't apply on your own. You apply for a job, then the hiring company applies for the permit on your behalf. Apply for job of course. Do a lot of applicants these days apply directly to employers? Besides jobstreet, do you know of any other job sites popular in singapore? Like monster.com? strait times?

QUOTE(vOlkSwaGen @ Jun 9 2016, 08:41 AM) I would suggest Jobsdb. Employers are active using Jobsdb. I got replies within 1 to 2 weeks jobsdb seem small in malaysia, surprisingly you got replies in Spore. Well I know its tough to work in singapore, but I think about this: I work for a HK company, with HK bosses, who are tough and merciless. But I am earning MYR !!! I mind as well go to singapore to work and get 3 times more for my stress.

QUOTE(vOlkSwaGen @ Jun 9 2016, 07:04 PM) I applied a lot of jobs on jobstreet and jobsdb. I said I prefered jobsdb because I can really see the status updated in 1 or 2 days. Unlike jobstreet, mostly just showed Received. Besides, more info are stated in jobsdb. Oh ya. Jobsbank Sg also not bad. Thanks for the tip U successful in getting a job in sg?
