What if my employer decided to terminate me. Will I still stand a chance to get employed in SG?

depending on reason of termination... sexual harassment, CBT, negligence, unscrupulous conduct, etc etc crime... i think most likely cannot get employed again

If  your frequent sick leave (more than what stated in the MOM act) affect your performance, then MOM can't do anything. Have to be fair to the employer also. Suck it up lo. Not like you get employed here you be king and MOM will protect your backside what.

Look at the bright side, health is more important than the job. If you sick because of work, your boss is doing you a favour by terminating you.

Precisely. It also depends on which industry you are in. Some take attendance very seriously e.g SIA. If you take more than 1 day of mc it'll affect your performance appraisal.

Then your employer did a good job for 'letting you go'.

Probably it's about time for you to think what's suitable for you.

Problem is, first time getting a job and about to get terminated, but ended up burning bridges.

Like your first job in SG is also your last.

But at least I can enter Singapore as a tourist right?

The most common reason of employees getting blacklisted by MOM is AWOL 2 consecutive days without proper justification and get terminated.

It happens a lot at my side here.

May I know what's the industry?

What if that employee who got blacklisted decided to appeal face-to-face or in writings with MOM personnel if he/she decided to be employed in Singapore again, do any good?
