QUOTE(j3Vils @ Nov 19 2015, 02:09 PM) Hi Guys, Any idea if I applying work permit to enter SG to work and then only apply EP after prohibition? Any concern? Do you mean probation? lol And no, you don't apply pass on your own. Is your company applying for you and is up to them which work pass to apply.

QUOTE(j3Vils @ Nov 19 2015, 03:31 PM) Yes, LOL. My company applied EP for me but get reject, so now they going to apply WP but few months later or after confirmation only re-apply EP, will it cause any problem? I'm not familiar with this though. Validity for WP is usually a year, so if wanna change to EP within that one year, I think need some justification from your company, like maybe promotion lol. So is better to ask for EP after that one year period.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 17 2015, 10:47 AM) I'm more than curious of one point, if you are doing well in KL, why would you opt to move to SG and fight with those S Pass holders? You have a choice right? If today I were to move to SG but not going to have those luxurious lifestyle like back in KL, for sure I don't want. I don't want to be a slave there. Maybe he likes to challenge himself in SG but also at the same he likes to complain when he's competing with S Pass holders and lastly start the finger pointing session.

QUOTE(The Net Surfer @ Feb 22 2016, 05:37 PM) Let's assume that the basic salary is SGD 3k: How much he's going to pay for the first to sixth month? How much he's going to pay for the seventh to twelfth month? Please do not reply any if your answer is something like read the MOM website, if the guideline is clear, we dont have to ask here. Thx in advance How much he's going to pay for the first to sixth month? It will be taxed as non-resident which is flat rate 15%How much he's going to pay for the seventh to twelfth month? After 183 days, it will be taxed as resident and varies depending on salary earnings. For 3K, it would be $350 for that year of assessment. As for your previous advice on 450 dollars per month was not clear because that guy did not mention working just for 6 months or less.

QUOTE(DemonHunter@L.S @ Apr 9 2016, 01:13 PM) Hello, I started to work in Singapore on July 6,2015. After my calculation, I found out that I worked in Singapore for 179 days, however I stayed there for 184 days. As such, 1. Am I categorized into resident tax or non-resident tax ? 2. I am the one who required to fill in e-filling for tax ? Or IRAS will inform me how much I have to pay since my employer participating in the AIS ? Please respond to me if any of you all have an idea regarding it, I need for urgent. Thank you. go email iras for correct advice

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Apr 25 2016, 07:58 PM) Crazy betui... Actually can opt for cheaper fee by choosing cheaper wards but since insurance can cover fully, took the best one of coz lol. QUOTE(knwong @ Apr 25 2016, 08:06 PM) Why not reveal the medical condition? Good for everyone awareness here Not that we know who you are or your gf K lur...is ovary cyst. Is common among women. Quite low risk but still no girls want to go under the knife. So those who have gf, please advise them to get insurance that covers this.
