To make things simple , always prepare plans (get friend or relatives to know about this) , if anything serious happen in SG , admit d further treatment transfer to MY.

Arrangements can be made , in such cases usually will need to pay initial Hospitalization fee in SG and Ambulance transfer (if serious) .

Rest of medical to be done in Malaysia , then claim MY insurance .
*
If something serious happen you will want to get treatment from SG hospital lo. SPM 9 F9 doctors vs SG A-level freaking many A doctors you want give your life to who?

For my case, I bought and maintain both SG and MY medical insurance, on top of what my company are providing.

The bad thing for medical insurance, they don't cover your pre-existing conditions. So buy early when you don't have any thing yet. Cannot switch insurance company, cannot switch insurance country suka suka. Buy late more expensive premium also. If not sure where you retire too, better keep both.

QUOTE(titarium @ Jan 21 2016, 11:05 AM)
Not all can cover both side mar .. especially SG side if company don't have (comprehensive one) then not PR ( No Medisave ) .

In fact I have faith in Malaysian Doctors , most of private (some Gov) Doctors in Malaysia seriously not bad (get referral doctors don't simply bang ) , Malaysian Docs also graduate from all over the World ( UK , US , AUS , SG - are the common ones practicing in Malaysia ) , specialist needless to say mostly overseas. ( Just avoid Doctors from Indonesia & Russia - lower recognition , but there are good ones too )

Actually I am promoting to my SG friend to seek treatment in Malaysia if they find SG too expensive , just pick those Medisave accredited -> you won't get wrong , then Insurance from SG also can claim ! Super Win .

Saying in general ma. Always have news come out in the newspaper. Forgot to take out scissors during operation, pregnant mum left unattended, baby stuck inside don't know how to take out.

But yes la, MY public hospital also upgraded quite a bit, my sis working there go visit her the hospital doesn't look doggy like those in newspaper one. But comparatively, she say the facilities and equipment are still lagging behind, the best thing though its affordable for the public.

Singapore hospitals are receiving more and more pinoy doctors liao. Many SG patients complaint...

Can request one but don't do it in a discriminating manner la just say feel more comfortable bla bla bla. Gave birth here recently all the doctors and nurses are local Chinese. Got TCM herbal soup some more. They don't serve balut only yet.

Don't even think about landed properties if the pay is less than 50k. Landed rules also tighten up for PR recently. Can hardly get approval for landed purchase now.

last time my direct boss bought hdb landed 300k plus , a steal for now which worth millions

car still ok with 5k

Queenstown? Only few left and the lease are expiring.

Inflation and stuff. My parents bought our house in the 90s. 1 mil plus and the exchange rate is 1 to 1.2 pre crisis era. During the boom agents offering 21 mil and negotiable as long as interested in selling. Now it drop to 14 mil but still outrageous.

2000sqft. Average psf price for condo abt 1200 to 1500. So sgd3m for ur 2k sqft sky mansion.

3M if u take loan means have to upfront 600k and a monthly installment of abt 8k for 35 years. So lets say uuse 40c of ur income to pyur combined monthly income is 20k.

Wah really elite man.
*
Scary isn't it? If I got 600k sgd cash, I convert it back to 1.8mil RM go back buy one landed house cash 600k rm, buy 1 car cash 100k rm, 100k stand by cash, 1 mil in bank eat interest retired already. In SG still need work for 30 years pay loan leh.

You'll be surprised at how bad the market is now. I'm in the financial sector and some of the portfolios I'm privy to are barely hitting 2% annualised returns. Circa 1 mil portfolios and managed by reputable investment advisors from SG.

Most say it's so bad that we've hit rock bottom though, and are optimistically hoping for a revival.
*
Heng ah mine double digit leh. 2% your client don't jump? If my own fund get 2% I hire hitman already.

Most investment bank can do better than 2% already. Really, 2% mean the analyst or the asset manager made some mistakes and put the blame to the market. You should go make some noise.

QUOTE(Repentance @ Jan 31 2016, 11:23 AM)
Guys, is there any possible situation that wp will be rejected?

I am previously a PR, when i was 12. Did not renew as my parents are divorced, mother cannot renew on behalf so i lost it.

Would my previous PR status affect my wp approval?

And is it tat difficult to find jobs in sg? I keep getting the "not suitable" for every job i apply thru jobsdb...
*
Submit to apply for WP and they will evaluate on a case by case basis. If your parents rip the baby bonus, what what bonus, maybe they consider its you the one enjoying the PR benefit. Typical PR run away to skip NS then reapply for EP later on, more serious than your case but gahmen may view your case as run away 二五仔 also. Recently they have news on one NZ guy also right.

Die die I won't apply dependent PR for my baby son so troublesome for little money save.

Any good credit card with lots of benefit recommend?
*
Uob one card is good for general usage. Cash rebate is goodest. Then u upgrade to every card for every little sai u can find, petrol, grocery, food, air miles, furniture. Before u know it, u got almost all the cards available. Suddenly u in the list of premier customer the bank send a well looking banking officer to ur office to serve u then bangggg u holding a cool black card that make the others look like proton in front of a bm. Then u start calling each bank to cancel all the beginner card.

There, ur credit card application life.
