QUOTE(vassilius @ May 18 2016, 12:08 PM) ... I was drawing $5.5k with 3-4 years experience as a BI developer in a foreign bank, never OT everyday yumcha 3 times.i'm actually on Business Intelligence and Analytic field... Have been on vendor project companies with total 8 years experience. Currently team lead on technical design and implementation. I do pre-sales as well and provide consultation on tools that i specialized in. You really should just look for other companies, 6k for BI lead is waaaaay too low. |

QUOTE(bevios @ May 18 2016, 03:12 PM) YMMV. Yumcha 3x doesn't mean no stress. QUOTE(bevios @ May 18 2016, 03:13 PM) Exactly. On contrary the Filipinos are much better to work with. My ex company is shifting their recruitment source there. This post has been edited by V-Zero: May 18 2016, 03:22 PM |

QUOTE(kevin613 @ May 18 2016, 09:59 AM) 1.07sgd to 1? What he meant was he was getting paid SGD1.07 for every RM1 he previously earned in Malaysia.i'm here for 8 years liao, dont recall seeing that.. anyway, +1 on what you said.. just for reference, individual median income is still less than 4k in SG, based on statistics from MOM. http://stats.mom.gov.sg/Pages/Income-Summary-Table.aspx I myself 5 years ago was also only earning RM2300 in Malaysia but when i move to SG, i manage to secure a BD role paying SG2700, so that's SG1.17 to RM1. not all jobs require you to downgrade your pay when moving over to SG, you will need to fight for your pay and not get pushed around by HR This post has been edited by aVexRikuu: May 18 2016, 11:40 PM |

Maybe you haven't notice the lagging when you're still in SGD2k++, not all jobs require you to downgrade your pay when moving over to SG, you will need to fight for your pay and not get pushed around by HR Usually SGD3k and above starts to lag. The higher you get in your salary, the harder you make a jump. When you're at SGD6k, your employer doesn't necessary to increment 10% each year like before. Even 50 yo Singaporean PMET losing his job at SGD 3.8k. http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/eat-drin...lp-5367255.html Good luck for you |

Salary conversion back then i got was RM1:S$1 |
