luckily the earlier batch of tenants like Michael Kors, Victoria Secrets.. pulled out from opening at this mall, otherwise they will be "pukul nyamuk" & crying badly almost everyday like those Asian avenue tenants in which the staff are already "layu" at there bcos too boring..

perhaps this mall gonna be awarded with WORST mall performance ever in the history of sunwai book of record for retail malls?

1. Technip laid-off 600 . Dpt surat last week.

2. Ranhil-WorleyParson KL retrenched 120 org, Aker Solution dah laid-off 40 orng.

3. Petrofac-Rnz nak retrench 100.

4. Shell decided to lay-off 200 sbb projects to be stopped.

5. PETRONAS, SCOMI, UMW stop hiring.... The list is continuing.

6. Murphy retrenched 80 people.

7. RnZ Petrofac soon.

8. MMHE will discontinue the  contracts of 800 employees.

9. PETRONAS is planning to do the same very soon.

10. It is estimated at least 7000 - 8000 people are out of jobs now from Oil and Gas industry. More to come

visited this mall recently on tuesday and noticed that the crowd was VERY LESS on afternoon for such a big mall..

there are still many vacant lots on every floor except on supermarket floor, even F&Bs on upper floor were not doing so well from what i observe, like 1 or 2 tables or totally empty

wondering how velocity's crowd on weekdays?  

probably too many empty lots which deter people from visiting this mall..  

hopefully more tenants will open in the next few months..
