the use of string polish can prolong the life of strings, is this true or myth ya?

Subject to which brand available in Malaysia market that fit for my guitar.
Personally i like Dunlop, D'addario, Ernie Ball

D'addario for Fenders - Gauge 9
Elixir for Gibson - Gauge 10 and above depending on your stringth wink.gif

what i think is the best? fender bullets cos they sound so warm...but i dont use them cos they break very easily.
so i compromise and use ernie ball slinkys...3 guitars...3 diff gauges...9-42 / 10-46 / 11-48.

its really depends on ur gauge and material. type or style of music you are playing depends on the string
