I was supposed to get promoted to a Senior position last month, but higher ups(the highest one) suddenly canceled all HQ staff promotion and squeezed on the increment, citing budget issues..... But our gym ppl got promoted..

Thinking of leaving as soon as I can now... Don't wanna waste much time.

Hi guys, i would like to ask opinions from all the sifus here. I am currently dilemma on choosing my next job.

Option 1: 3.7k SGD per month (Yes, have to reside at Singapore)
Option 2: 7k MYR per month (My hometown, Selangor)

I am 28 years old in IT industry. Currently reside in PJ, stayed at Singapore for 3 months last year and i dont feel happy working and staying there.

But MYR is unstable due to recent economic situation. Which 1 do you think i should take? Thank you.

Actually there are other form of depressions at work.

If you are being paid 5-figure salary but work in a place that nothing gets done and you are being blamed by your bosses for not delivering stuffs which are beyond your control, and the only way to survive is to defend yourself by pointing fault at others ending up burning bridges in a professional capacity... to make things worse, you cannot shake off the feeling and bringing it home to your family with all the anger and frustrations and lashing out at them.... 

So looking at the situations, it's not a bad idea to work at a quiet place where we find satisfaction at work... because we can never run away from blending work and life together as one impacts the other no matter how much you disagree with this.
