OK pay for someone my age, but I feel the role I'm in is integral to the company. Yet those around with more exp get paid much better for equivalent (sometimes less!) contribution.
How can I fight for better pay knowing I'm not "experienced" but am doing the job very well with minimal supervision and guidance?

6K at the age of 25 consider alot.

Many fresh grad out there start with 2.5k-3k when they start working around 23-24 years old.

How is it like working in Hotel?
Is it low pay like people keep talking? Lately my ex colleague resign and apply Front Office at Royal Chulan. The maximum offer they can give is RM1800. I think front Office assistant

my bro and friend said that I'm underpaid and deserves more pay since i'm a graduate with some work experiences in sales. Some of them tell me why not go for banking industry to have a try.. but banking is not my main priority because not really good in calculation.

My passion is more towards retail marketing like marcom for shopping malls.. but still searching for job/opportunity related to it.

TBH, kinda bored with my current job  yawn.gif and waiting to resign which is really tough now as I don't have a new job yet... I don't want to be unemployed as I need to pay for PTPTN.. and my family always advise me to get new offer letter 1st before tender resignation letter.. hmm.gif

any advise from you guys of what should I do? been waiting for quite some time to leave my current job.. bangwall.gif

Bro. I had same salary with you. RM2300, just working in this company for 3 months. Considered fresh grad. Grad on April this year.

I'm in retail industry. Japanese co. Tired working in retail supermarket. Need to work on shift.

I have tried apply other job but seems no response. sad.gif
My salary is barely enough for me. PTPTN also I haven't start paying yet.

My classmate from secondary school, grad same year with me but different course, got a job at Paypal starting pay RM3k.

So jelly with her. I also tried apply before but no response. cry.gif
And also I'm not good in calculation, I have applied job at bank and failed in their math test

While I only 2.3k as starting. and u ask us "are u underpaid"? seriously bro?
even people that working for 10++ also takes time to get that 7k pay.
