Slight, but who I am to judge? Haven't start earning when I was 24. I am marketing executive too. Mind share me your job scope on contract and the things you actually do? laugh.gif I am in FMCG line though. tongue.gif

Well what have been mentioned in the job scope on contract is quite matching. The down side about it is I've to deal with government sectors and supplying tools as an value added service to customers. Quite troublesome thou. Sourcing and developing new customer based under government sectors is not as easy, eg: when you tried to call any person in charge in a specific department, your call maybe diverted to the whole sector before you are directed to the correct person.

Good thing you have a matching JD. Mine was totally different. I deal with government sector as well but on license applications, procurement & stuff. Doing things that is totally not match with my JD at all. :/

Well I take it as a pinch of salt. Learn as many as I can and leave the company with skilled worker. laugh.gif What do you do on marketing side? Your company have budget for you to do marketing/brand awareness related events?

Well title given was marketing but my JD is sales. Well, there's no need of marketing in this line as we are doing services. Most of the customers are return customers.

Been trying to put it in a way to learn and leave. But heart breaks when you realize your colleagues doing a similar job but is getting almost double of what you are getting. The sick part is I'm not even entitled for Commission.

Mine is considered opposite of yours. I do not need to conduct sales, but I need to conduct sales event for the outlets. Basically my priority is not sales, which is a good thing because I do not like to do sales at all. laugh.gif

Ohh, where are you based at?

The reason my basic is slightly higher could be because of my age and extra experience. Though is not fantastic salary that am earning but during this difficult economy period, having a job and salary to draw is something worth to appreciate and give thanks for, right..?  smile.gif
