Just wanted to put it out there, that working with an airline does not necessarily mean you will get high wages. Even engineers would get a starting salary of around RM5k++ right now. Right now, even wanting to get a personal loan of 10k is quite impossible (last I checked was February this year) due to the current status of the company and the circular from BNM (according to what the employee told me) that restricts anyone from our company to be given a loan.

Yup, aviation industry in Malaysia actually pays below the average of the global industry standard. An engineer with a 20+ years of experience in South Korea is paid around 20k USD/month, while the same engineer in our own soil would get not even half of it.

There are a lot of us that are not satisfied with the current salary, but no choice. Circumstances prevents a lot of us to actually venture out of our own field. 

Actually to earn more in this industry you have to get out of Malaysia, hence was thinking of EASA.
